Chapter 139 Three Enemy Spies (2/2)

"Darling! You're finally out! Are you hurt? You're so brave!"

"The other side is an enemy agent! What if they have accomplices? Why didn't you wait for me?"

This was the first time Bai Yajing had seen her uncle's expression change, and she knew she had worried him.

She quickly spun around in front of him twice to show him, "Uncle, I'm fine, I have Big White to help me!"

Upon hearing the name Da Bai, Bai Yunshu noticed the large white wolf following behind her and was immediately startled.

He instinctively pulled the person behind him and looked warily at the tall, strong white wolf.

"You little rascal! You've got some nerve! Is that the wolf king?"

Big White looked at the two-legged creature in front of him, tilted his wolf head, as if to say, why are you blocking it?

Bai Yajing chuckled and came out from behind him.

"Uncle, don't be afraid, this is Baymax, my precious baby! It helped me find someone, so I promised to roast chicken for it and find it a wife while I'm at it!"

Upon hearing this, Bai Yunshu understood immediately! She had tricked the Wolf King into working for her for free!

I'd heard her mutter a few times before that she wanted to raise two wolfhound puppies for the elderly in her family to guard the house.

And so, they set their sights on this big white wolf!

He carefully examined the wolf king; there was no hostility in its eyes, and its whole body was relaxed, indicating that it truly had no defenses against her.

It's not easy to do that.

"Wow! You're really something!"

Bai Yajing smiled smugly, "That's right! Let's go back quickly! I've taken care of those three enemy agents! Let's talk about it when we get back!"

Bai Yunshu was stunned when he heard this. "Three???"

The thought of her single-handedly dealing with three enemy agents filled him with lingering fear!

"Yeah! It's getting dark, let's hurry back! Big White and I are starving!"

Upon hearing that she was hungry, Bai Yunshu didn't bother to ask any more questions and immediately turned around, saying, "Come on, let's go home and I'll cook you noodles. I'll also cook meat for Da Bai."

The two people and the wolf quickly descended the mountain.

When they got back to the village, everyone was planning to turn off the lights and go to sleep.

The Bai family's house was still brightly lit.

Her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather are worried and are still waiting for her to come back.

Bai Yajing felt a warmth in her heart.

My uncle clearly remembered that she said she was hungry, so he went to the kitchen when he came back.

Grandpa looked her over carefully, but couldn't find any injuries, so he followed her into the kitchen to help.

His daughter is hungry, so he needs to hurry up and get her some food.

Grandpa Bai and his grandmother were relieved to see that she was alright.

"It's good that you're alright, it's good that you're alright!"

As for Big White, it was very well-behaved, always nudging and sticking to the two old people.

Both of them liked it very much.

They were worldly people; it was just one wolf, nothing to be afraid of, and it wasn't a pack.

Moreover, this wolf is both obedient and good-looking; I like it from the bottom of my heart!

The more Grandma looked at the big white wolf, the more familiar it seemed. "My dear, why does the big white wolf look so familiar to Grandma?"

Do you remember that wolf cub you beat up when you were a kid? Afterwards, when you went deep into the mountains, it would occasionally follow you around, watching your cub!

After her grandmother's reminder, Bai Yajing circled around the big white dog a few times and found it increasingly familiar!

"You? Little Whitey???"

It's been too long. She was too young then, and only remembered that it happened, but forgot what the wolf cub looked like!

The big white wolf raised its head, turned its wolf face away from her, and paced back and forth, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

Has this two-legged creature finally remembered it? How heartless!

The wolf has never forgotten her!

Bai Yajing covered her face, feeling unusually guilty for being so unreasonable...

Grandma also confirmed it, and with a hearty laugh, she explained to the bewildered Grandpa Bai about the grudges between Bai Yajing and Da Bai when they were children.

Grandpa Bai couldn't help but laugh and tease her and Da Bai.
