Chapter 13 Curse Him to Death (2/2)

After confirming that her hand was alright, Old Master Bai turned around and glared fiercely at the two of them.

"What are you two doing, bullying my child! You're looking me up and down, you know? Get the hell out of here! I hate just looking at you!"

Bai Lao Er stamped his foot angrily, "Father! You're confused! She's so ill-mannered and vulgar, she'll embarrass the Bai family sooner or later!"

Old Master Bai was about to say a few more words to him when Bai Yajing tugged at his sleeve and stopped him.

She peeked out from behind the old man.

"I'm an orphan girl whose mother died early and whose father is practically dead. It's perfectly normal for me to have some martial arts skills to rely on, okay? You're making a fuss over nothing and showing no respect!"

Hehehe..."

Excellent! One sentence successfully sent Bai Lao Er's blood pressure soaring again...

Upon hearing this, Old Master Bai's heart ached so much that he pulled her over, saying, "Oh, my poor little girl! She lost her parents when she was so young! She has suffered so much!"

Bai Lao Si sighed, his father and daughter both cursing Bai Lao Er to die; he simply couldn't bear to look at his dark, purplish face...

The second wife was speechless. Even though she was eloquent, she had nothing to say in the face of this situation...

All he could do was pat Bai Lao Er's chest and soothe him, afraid of upsetting him and causing him harm.

Neither Grandpa Bai nor his grandson cared about his expression and simply ignored him.

The two quickly engaged in a warm and friendly exchange, exchanging pleasantries as if they were family.

Bai Lao Er suddenly felt dizzy and fainted. And he really did collapse the next moment.

The second wife's frail body was no match for him, and she was also pulled down by the force.

"Oh dear! Honey, what's wrong? Don't scare me! You fainted from anger! Quick, call a doctor!!"

The commotion finally interrupted the conversation between the grandfather and grandson, who both turned to look at the ground.

"Fourth brother, don't look down on him because he's a bit dim-witted. It's not contagious. Why don't you lend a hand?"

He's still my son, no matter how stupid he is, I can't just throw him away! I was just cooperating with my granddaughter to let her vent her anger and not hold it in.

What could Bai Laosi say? He could only accept his fate.

"Yes, sir."

After Bai Lao Si and his second wife helped Bai Lao Er leave the hall, Old Master Bai put away his relaxed smile and instantly became serious.

He led the people back to his study.

"Girl, go back home while there aren't many people who know you yet. Don't come here unless it's absolutely necessary."

After saying that, he opened the drawer and took out a whole stack of money notes for her, probably worth a thousand or eight hundred.

Bai Yajing accepted it without hesitation. The old man was very rich, and if she didn't take it, it would all go to that heartless family! Why not take it if it's free?

"Thank you, Grandpa! You're so kind! You're the best! You're the best grandpa in the world!"

Grandpa Bai was overjoyed by her flattery.

"Hahahaha! My dear, listen to me. Your father is biased towards your sister. Let's ignore him. I'll take you home after dinner."

He was also reluctant to part with his granddaughter. He had finally been able to see her again, and he longed to keep her by his side. Unfortunately, for her own good, he had to reluctantly send her away.

Bai Yajing didn't want to leave. She had only collected some interest today, and hadn't even used her big move yet! Besides, she was still worried about leaving her grandfather behind.

So she tugged at Grandpa Bai's sleeve and shook it, saying in a coquettish tone, "Grandpa, I don't want to leave, I want to stay with you."
