Chapter 39: Execution (1/2)

The execution was scheduled for ten o'clock in the morning. Jiang Tangtang had breakfast at home, changed her clothes, and then slowly went to the execution ground.

The execution ground was fixed, where Shui Niang was shot. It was a riverbank far away from the city center.

This river beach is very different from other places. The water here is particularly gloomy, and even the stones and sand on the shore are black.

There were two other people who were shot with her. All three of them were pulled back from the "public trial and public sentencing meeting."

He had already been scolded by everyone there, and now he was going to be shot.

This place is secluded and remote, and not many people come here, but Jiang Tangtang still came.

If for no other reason than to be able to see with my own eyes the murderer of my mother die here.

Jiang Tangtang stood aside, watching as Shui Niang's hands and feet were tied by the bailiffs and she was staggered to the riverbank.

After not seeing her for half a month, Shui Niang was already exhausted from being tortured by herself. She didn't want to die and kept shouting and making a fuss in the prison. She was shocked with electric batons several times, but she still didn't give up, so she was beaten several more times.

She used to be with Lu Zhicai, enjoying the Jiang family's wealth and living a glamorous life. Now she has become a prisoner, and even her clothes are so black that you can't even tell the pattern.

The algae-like hair from before was no longer there. Now it was just scattered messily on her shoulders, partially covering her face and eyes.

Even so, she still recognized Jiang Tangtang when she passed by her.

"Bitch! What are you doing here? Do you want to see me die? You bitch, I shouldn't have been soft-hearted in the first place. I should have killed you too. I treated you so well! Little bitch, you're just like your mother!"

After a few days of silence, the bailiff heard her shrill roar again. He wanted to beat her up, but he thought that she would soon shut up forever, so he endured it.

Jiang Tangtang folded her hands, staring at her eyes as cold as icicles, like a dark cloud pressing down on her head.

"You're about to die, why are you still pretending? Don't you know how you treat me?"

The bailiff was stern and merciless, scolding her and pushing her forward.

"Hurry up and leave!"

Shui Niang took a few steps forward and was forced to kneel down on the black gravel on the riverbank.

These stones seemed to have not been washed by rain, and some were very sharp. As soon as she knelt down, she felt a piercing pain below her knees.

But these pains were nothing compared to the fear in her heart.

All three people were present, and the bailiff asked questions as usual.

"If you have any last words, please tell me now."

As if she really felt that her life was about to end here, she suddenly started crying heart-wrenchingly.

"I shouldn't have died, I shouldn't have died! I was wronged, I was wronged!"

Her cries were like those of a puppet whose soul had been taken away, empty and lifeless, echoing brokenly between the mountains.

This was not the first time the bailiff had dealt with such a person. He ignored her and, after consulting with the court staff, raised the gun from behind her.

Bang bang bang.

After three gunshots, the crying woman's voice disappeared. Jiang Tangtang looked at her lying in a pool of blood, with no emotion in her eyes. Instead, she lowered the brim of her hat and left the place.
