Chapter 43: Doctor Jiang, Chinese Medicine!? (1/2)

During breakfast, Jiang Tangtang thought about it and decided to find a job.

But she is pregnant now, so it may be difficult for her to find a job.

After all, it can't be too tiring work.

She thought about it carefully and finally decided to find a job in a hospital, but she didn't want to be a nurse anymore because that job was too troublesome.

She thought that with her skills, she would have no problem becoming a Chinese medicine practitioner, so she went to the hospital to ask if there was any shortage of doctors in regular hospitals.

The result is predictable. I went to two hospitals and was rejected by both.

Nowadays, there are many people who worship foreign things and traditional Chinese medicine has declined. As soon as she went to the hospital, people said they only wanted nurses and Western doctors, not traditional Chinese medicine, because traditional Chinese medicine is too slow to work.

After coming out of the hospital dejectedly, Jiang Tangtang strolled alone on the street.

She still hasn't forgotten what the hospital's personnel department said to her just now.

The man said that at her age, even if she became a doctor, people would not dare to come to see her for treatment.

After all, Chinese medicine needs to be passed down. Good Chinese medicine doctors have to study hard for many years. Cultivating a Chinese medicine talent is a huge cost for the hospital.

It would be better to recruit a doctor who graduated from a medical college. He can learn quickly, has a short internship period, and can work independently in no time.

After accepting this reality, Jiang Tangtang decided to go home and rest first, and then go out in the afternoon to try other hospitals.

After all, the capital is so big, it's impossible for her to be in a high position and still not be able to find a job, right?

Thinking of this, Jiang Tangtang didn't care anymore.

On the way to the village, Jiang Tangtang came across a Chinese medicine clinic. The door was painted with vermilion lacquer, and the plaque was black with large golden characters embedded in the middle. It looked quite impressive from a distance.

But when I got closer, I saw some clues. A lot of the red paint had fallen off, revealing the yellow wood underneath. The same was true for the plaque. From a distance, it looked fine, but when I looked closer, I found that the wood was cracked.

As soon as she walked into the door, Jiang Tangtang smelled a strong aroma of Chinese medicine inside, and she walked in unknowingly.

There were two old people sitting at the door. They looked like a couple, about fifty or sixty years old. They were both wearing dark green coats, and the woman coughed from time to time.

Looking further inside, you will see a table with rounded edges.

There was a wooden sleeper on the table, and two bags beside it. Jiang Tangtang guessed that there should be silver needles or something in them. Sitting in the middle was an elderly man with half-shaved hair, wearing a navy blue jacket, and was examining a patient.

When Jiang Tangtang walked into the room, the patient who came to see the doctor had just recovered.

The old Chinese doctor in a mandarin jacket thought Jiang Tangtang was also here to see a doctor, so he waved and motioned her to sit down.

Jiang Tangtang nodded and sat down, but she was not there to see a doctor, so she just continued to speak.

"Hello uncle, I'd like to ask, are you still hiring Chinese medicine doctors?"

The old Chinese doctor looked her up and down before he spoke.

"Is it you or your dad?"

"As for me, my family has inherited traditional Chinese medicine skills, and I've learned a lot. Now I'm looking for a job. Do you think... can I work for you?"

The clinic looked deserted, with few people coming in and out. Next to it was a pharmacy, where a middle-aged woman, probably the daughter of the old Chinese doctor, sat.

"I don't have many patients here every day. I'm too busy to handle everything, so I'm not hiring any doctors. I suggest you check out the University Hospital. There are more opportunities there."

Business wasn't going well at the moment, and if he hired another doctor, he probably wouldn't make a penny, so he politely refused.

"I see. It's okay. Thank you."
