Chapter 44 Prescription (2/2)

"Then, Doctor Jiang, please prescribe some medicine. No matter how much it costs, I'm fine!"

Since the house was rented here, it was inconvenient for Jiang Tangtang to ask for a high price, so she just collected some medical fees as a token of courtesy.

"Auntie Yang, you're too polite. We're neighbors. Please give me two dollars. Please give me two pieces of paper. I'll prescribe medicine for Sister Lei Min first."

When she heard that she needed paper and pen, Yang Huiying shook her head and looked around, then remembered that they were in the drawer of the table by the wall, so she quickly opened the drawer, took out the paper and pen and handed them to Jiang Tangtang.

"Come here, Doctor Jiang, here."

"Yeah." Jiang Tangtang took it with both hands, lowered her head and started writing on the paper, emphasizing as she wrote.

"These are two prescriptions. Her illness is special, so the medicines for morning and evening are different. The first one is for the morning, and it's mainly used to reduce internal heat and balance yin and yang. The second one is for dispelling cold and replenishing qi. These two prescriptions must not be mixed up. If you take the wrong one, it won't be effective."

The prescription was all in her mind, so in a few seconds, she wrote it all out. After writing it, she did not forget to check whether there were any mistakes. Only after confirming that it was correct did she hand it to Lei Min.

After taking the prescription, Lei Min took a look at it.

This prescription was indeed different from those prescribed by other doctors. Although she didn't understand, she didn't dare to say anything and just nodded.

"Hey! Thank you, Doctor Jiang. I'll go get the medicine right away and start taking it today!"

"There's no need to rush right now. It's not too late for you to eat with your aunt first, and it won't be too late to go. It won't take a day or two to finish eating. Relax. The more anxious you are, the more useless it will be. Do you understand?"

In this day and age, if you don't have a child after five years of marriage, you will be criticized. Jiang Tangtang felt very sympathetic towards her, so her words were very gentle.

"Hey...Thank you, Doctor Jiang. I understand what you said."

"By the way, I just heard you say you were looking for a job. I think it's a waste of talent to keep your skills in a small hospital. Why don't you try a big hospital, or... become a military doctor like my brother-in-law? Otherwise, your skills are really wasted."

"That's true..."

After hearing this, Jiang Tangtang began to think.

"Sister Lei Min, your suggestion is great. I never thought about becoming a military doctor before, but after hearing what you said, I think this job is great. I just don't know much about the military. Could you tell me more about it?"

Lei Min was very happy to be able to help Jiang Tangtang, and immediately started talking to her incessantly.

"Yeah, I was saying it's good. My brother-in-law's job is very well paid. It's just that the missions are a bit troublesome. He also has to train with the soldiers, which is a bit tiring. He can't go home often, but there's nothing else to choose from. It's much better than these jobs out there."

"I heard that there are quite a few people who sign up every year. Many people are stuck at one point: the trial. There can't be any criminals in the family. Many people are stuck here."

"I see..."

She is pregnant now, so it is impossible for her to go to training.

"What's the matter? Is your family not okay?"

Hearing the hesitation in her tone, Lei Min became worried.

"That's not the case. I have some considerations of my own. It's okay, sister. You guys eat first. I'll go home and look for some information. I'll go to the military hospital tomorrow to see what materials are needed for the investigation."

Although she might not be able to get in, at least she could learn about it and prepare for it. She thought that it would come in handy one day.

"Yeah, that's true. Why are you being so formal? Stay for dinner before you leave. My mom has prepared everything."
