If this had happened before, many people would have had doubts about Luo Jingyan, but after the tractor incident, most of these members believe in Luo Jingyan.
After all, they didn't believe the girl could drive or repair a tractor last time, but Luo Jingyan showed them with her own eyes that she did have exceptional abilities. If she wasn't confident, she wouldn't have taken on this job.
If they doubt Luo Jingyan's ability to brew wine now, they will likely be the ones who get slapped in the face.
However, driving a tractor and brewing wine are two different things. Their ancestors had been brewing wine in the village. Later, when the planned economy was implemented, the small winery was forced to close down. They applied for a period of collective economic model, but the brewing equipment and technology were not as good as those in large factories, so the winery closed down again.
The older folks in the village all knew a bit about winemaking. As elders, they didn't really doubt Luo Jingyan, but she was still just an eighteen or nineteen-year-old girl. Later, after he became a master craftsman at the village distillery, he insisted on changing his name because of his passion for brewing and his status. He wanted to add the character "jiu" (酒, meaning wine) to his name. However, the pronunciation of "jiu" (酒) and "ba" (八) clashed, and the sound was too unpleasant when read together. So he simply changed his name to Li Jiu (李酒), and people called him Uncle Li Jiu.
He looked disdainfully at Luo Jingyan standing on the stage and said, "Although you know a lot about brewing, you are too young. Brewing is like fighting a war; theoretical knowledge alone is not enough. A qualified brewer must at least be very fond of baijiu and have rich brewing experience. Only after countless failures and successes can one truly master the art of brewing. You keep saying you can use brewing to help the villagers get rich. If you can't do it, wouldn't everyone just be wasting their grain and working for nothing? I'm letting you off the hook because you're young and impetuous, but I advise you to quit as soon as possible."
Luo Jingyan didn't want to argue with anyone, so she asked the brigade leader for his opinion: "Uncle Captain, since someone is questioning me, I think I should quit. I don't want to make enemies with the villagers here because of this."
