The next second, with a loud crash, a plate flew over and landed at Xue Ningnan's feet. The plate collided violently with the ground and shattered instantly, scattering fragments of porcelain everywhere.
Startled, Xue Ningnan quickly took two steps back.
Xue Ningnan looked in horror in the direction the saucer had come from; it was from Xue Yanchen's side.
The man's deep eyes burned with raging fury: "Xue Ningnan, if you don't leave, I won't just smash the floor."
Xue's mother quickly pulled Xue Ningnan and pushed her outside: "You should leave now!"
Xue Ningnan was pushed out of the Xue family home by her mother, who then pulled her out of the family compound.
"Ning Nan, go find somewhere to eat. Come back when your brother isn't home."
Xue's mother turned and went back. Xue Ningnan was completely stunned. The change in events had happened too suddenly, and Xue Yanchen's attitude towards her had become too hostile, making it difficult for her to cope for a while.
When they were little, she often took Xue Yanchen's things—pencils, notebooks, toys, his pocket money—and even made him fight with others for the man she liked. After he was injured, she only cared about the man she liked and ignored him, but Xue Yanchen never held it against her.
Although her younger brother is formidable outside and many people are afraid of him, he has always been very gentle with his family.

Xue Ningyu and Zhao Donglai led Yuanyuan and Zhao Ming back to their seats. Yuanyuan asked, "Uncle, you were so scary when you were angry just now. How did you find Auntie when you were so fierce? Did you scare her?"
The child's words immediately made everyone present laugh, and the atmosphere instantly became lively.
Xue Yanchen asked, "Is your uncle usually strict with you?"
“Not fierce.” The two little ones shook their heads in unison.
"I would never be mean to your aunt." He dotes on his young wife.
Xue Ningyu said to the two little ones, "Your uncle is definitely very gentle with your aunt and wouldn't dare to be mean to her."
"Will Uncle be afraid of Aunt?" Xiao Zhaoming asked.
The adults were amused again.
"If you want to know, your aunt and uncle will come here to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and then you'll find out."
After the meal, Xue Yanchen discussed with his mother about going to the department store to buy things in the afternoon and visiting his mother-in-law the next day.
Xue Ningyu and Zhao Donglai took the child home, while Xue's mother and Xue Yanchen went to the department store together.
As soon as Xue Ningnan returned to the factory, she went to find Lu Baozhu. Since Xue Yanchen hadn't broken up with Luo Jingyan yet, she couldn't introduce Lu Baozhu to him.
Xue Yanchen doesn't want to see her right now. Their relationship has become somewhat strained, and at this critical juncture, he probably won't meet anyone she introduces to him.
