After the victory in the war, the troops rested in place for three days. Some of them were left to guard the border, while the rest returned to their military base.
A little over a day later, they returned to the military region.
The soldiers were exhausted from fighting and traveling. After getting off the vehicle, some went back to their homes in the family compound, while others returned to their dormitories.
As soon as Xue Yanchen, Luo Jingyan, and Grandma Xue returned home, Xue Yanchen gave Grandma Xue a meaningful look. Grandma Xue understood her grandson's meaning and quickly picked up her bag and went back to her room.
