Chapter 14 Bicycle Ticket

Or rather... more like a puppet.

The head, body, and limbs are all connected by joints, and you can imagine that once they move, they will make a wooden clicking sound.

Hua Wanchi tentatively poked the puppet closest to her.

The puppet raised its head, and its chest and abdomen turned into a screen with the words: The planting puppet has been activated and voice commands can be issued.

Hua Wanchi tried to give the order: "Plant puppets and open up the wasteland."

Suddenly, more than a dozen puppets in the group raised their heads, produced tools in their hands, and started moving with a clicking sound.

Hua Wanchi: It’s amazing, the commands are actually group commands, and they can automatically get tools from her warehouse.

You asked Hua Wanchi how she knew the puppet was holding tools from the warehouse, and just now the hoe in her hand was also taken away by a puppet.

Since the tools didn't appear out of thin air, they had to be taken from her warehouse.

Hua Wanchi continued to poke the remaining puppets.

[The farmed puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

"Raise puppets, start breeding!"

There was another round of clicking sounds.

[Puppet creation has been activated, and voice commands can be issued.]

[The construction puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

[The medical puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

[The sideline puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

[The textile puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

[The cooking puppet has been activated and can issue voice commands.]

Hua Wanchi was amazed. The types of puppets were so comprehensive that they could take care of all her food, clothing, housing and transportation.

"The rest of the puppets, please stand by for now."

The space has no output yet, and the remaining puppets have no use for the time being.

Upon hearing the command, all the puppets except those responsible for breeding and planting automatically ran back to the warehouse.

With this group of puppets, Hua Wanchi returned to reality with peace of mind.

The next morning, Wan Qingliu entered the space and found that the space had changed a lot.

The land in the space has been divided into rice fields, wheat fields and vegetable plots. Not far away are the cow shed, pig pens, chicken sheds, duck sheds, goose sheds and rabbit hives. There is even a composting area not far from the breeding pens.

Wan Qingliu couldn't help but start to doubt what was going on for her. Was this still the space she knew?

In the fields, the puppets have taken out seeds and started breeding and sowing. The puppets next to the breeding pens have begun to take care of the livestock, picking up unfertilized chicken eggs, duck eggs and goose eggs and putting them in the warehouse.

Everything was in order and there was no need for Wan Qingliu to take any action.

Wan Qingliu picked a lemon from a lemon tree and took a bite. Her face wrinkled because of the sourness, just like her mood at the moment.

The ancestor's preference for Hua Wanchi, a descendant, has exceeded the Milky Way.

This was actually quite unfair to the ancestor. After all, this jade pendant space was originally intended for the family's disciples to cultivate their spiritual power and control of their spirits. The space allowed for farming so that the disciples could use their spiritual power and spirits to cultivate the fields, sow seeds, and control insects.

It's such a large space, and if a mortal were to do it himself, even the most skilled old farmer would not be able to handle so much land.

However, Hua Wanchi could not practice like his fellow tribesmen in another world, so the planting attribute of the space changed its function, and its greatest significance became planting itself.

Although Hua Wanchi didn't know how to farm, giving her the puppet was not out of favoritism, but simply to satisfy her need to grow crops in space.

Of course, this is what the ancestor’s spirit thought. Wan Qingliu took another bite of the lemon.

In the morning, Hua Wanchi signed in at home and received ten yuan of this era's RMB and a bicycle ticket.

Well, it's a huge sum of money. Bicycle tickets are quite useful.

The family didn't have a bicycle yet. It wasn't that Wan Qingliu couldn't afford one, but their family's financial situation was already enviable, and buying a bicycle would be too conspicuous.

Compared to the potential turmoil caused by bicycles, the demand for bicycles is not that important.

By the time Hua Wanchi was old enough to use a bicycle, buying one was no longer such a rare thing, so this bicycle ticket was of no use for the time being.

Hua Wanchi yawned and casually gave the bicycle ticket to his grandmother.

In the fields, the team leader was shouting slogans passionately, and the villagers were holding sickles in their hands, ready to go. The educated youth mixed in among them looked gloomy, as if all their energy had been sucked out.

Wan Qingliu took a basket of boiled eggs and distributed them to the women around him one by one, saying with a cheerful face:

"My daughter-in-law has done a great job and gave me a big, plump granddaughter. I specially cooked these eggs and gave them to everyone. I wish you all many children and good fortune!"

All the old ladies and young wives looked at Wan Qingliu with strange eyes.

Is this old woman so irritated that she's lost her mind? What's the point of giving birth to a girl? A girl can't carry on the family line!

Not to mention that conditions are generally poor nowadays, most families would be reluctant to give out eggs even if they had a son. Even when conditions were good, people would only celebrate if they had a son!

But people are grateful for what they have received, and since they have eggs to eat, no one will deliberately spoil the fun. They all open their eyes and congratulate insincerely:

"Congratulations!"

"Hey, granddaughter, the first one bloomed and then bore fruit!"

"Girls are more sensible than boys. Granddaughters are better!"

"Women hold up half the sky. Granddaughter, you are no less than men!"

Of course, there were also some ignorant grumblings, such as Zhao Tingnu.

"Why are you so happy about having a girl? You must be crazy."

Wan Qingliu didn't even look at her, and ignored her directly. He walked past her and continued to pass eggs to other people, saying with a smile:
