When Chen Yun came out of the kitchen, he was holding a porcelain bowl in his hand. He wished he could stay away from him. He held his breath and walked quickly towards Zhou Wang.
The color in the bowl is dark, and as it shakes as you walk, ripples appear on the edge of the bowl.
Dalang, it’s time to take your medicine!
Chen Yun thought of this sentence at an inopportune moment, but he didn't say it out loud. He just tried to suppress his smile and handed it over: "Brother, your Ten-Ingredient Tonic Soup!"
Zhou Wang was leaning on the sofa bored. He leaned forward slightly when he heard the noise. He glanced at her lightly and took the bowl: "You can also have some."
Shen Yun shook his head and refused: "No, I am very healthy and don't need any additional tonics."
After she finished speaking, she didn't leave. She stood motionless in front of him, staring intently at the next move.
The white spoon formed a sharp contrast with the black medicine. Zhou Wang lowered his head and stirred it. Some unfiltered residue floated on the surface.
Chen Yun saw him test the temperature with a spoon, then gulp it down from the bowl without feeling any discomfort and without even a frown.
What about her involuntarily frowning for a long time?
Chen Yun silently took the bowl from his hand and swallowed unconsciously. She felt it was very bitter even though she only smelled it and didn't drink it, but he didn't react at all.
I couldn't help but ask out loud: "Isn't it bitter?"
"It won't be bitter once you get used to it." When he first came into the Shen family, he was rather thin, with a pale complexion and no matter how much he ate, he wouldn't gain weight. Later, his mother became anxious and consulted a doctor, who made him drink Chinese medicine for half a year.
Chen Yun sighed in his heart, wondering how much suffering he had endured to be able to get used to taking the medicine.
She lowered her voice: "Do I have to drink it every time I'm sick?"
Chinese medicine or Western medicine, she chose no.
Zhou Wang looked at her with a puzzled expression and said casually, "Not really. If you're not at home during your illness, you don't need to drink it."
Shen Yun asked again: "Sister, do you have to drink it even if you are sick?"
"It's normal to take medicine when you're sick." I just had to be obedient and take Chinese medicine.
Chen Yun said "oh" with realization, and began to think in his heart, if she had a headache, fever or cold, he must not be at home, otherwise he would work hard to make Chinese medicine for her, and if she drank it, it would be fatal, and if she didn't drink it, it would be a waste of his efforts.
The thought that had just emerged was interrupted by a ringtone. Shen Yun saw the phone next to him. It was hers, and it showed sister.
"You take it, I'll take the bowl back." He ran over with clattering footsteps.
Zhou Wang picked up his phone and tapped it lightly.
"Brother? You and Ayun are together?" Chen Xi was caught off guard and startled by the person in front of the camera.
"Well, that's strange?" Zhou Wang asked back.
Chen Xi didn't think too much about it: "I just called you and you didn't answer, so I thought of asking Ayun how you were doing."
Zhou Wang heard footsteps approaching from afar and explained absentmindedly: "The phone is upstairs."
"It's okay, don't worry about it, just take good care of yourself outside."
Chen Yun approached and saw a scene of brotherly and respectful conversation, with each talking in harmony.
Sure enough, the younger sister who grew up with her was especially doted on, unlike her younger sister who came later in life and had no feelings for her.
Chen Yun squeezed in and sat down next to Zhou Wang, sticking his head out and smiling: "Sister, I miss you so much, when will you come back?"
Zhou Wang glanced at her.
"Oh, have you eaten yet?"
"Have a box lunch. My sister is so pitiful. I will definitely give her some good nourishment when I get home."
"My sister has become so thin because of starvation."
Chen Xi was amused by her and laughed.
"Sister, you must take good care of yourself. Look at this..." Chen Yun quickly shot Zhou Wang a shot: "It's so pitiful. The medicine she drank was extremely bitter."
"Listen to my sister, I can take care of myself."
"Okay, bye~"
Zhou Wang didn't have a chance to say a word until the video was hung up. He just acted like a tool holding the phone. He tilted his head and smiled, "You're so sweet."
"Of course." Chen Yun leaned close to him and sniffed it seriously: "It's not as bitter as your mouth."
A sweet smell inhaled into his nose, and Zhou Wang's vision became blurry. They were so close that it was difficult to focus on her face. He also moved a little closer and whispered in a low voice: "Eating candy?"
The warm breath was tinged with bitterness. They were so close that she could hardly breathe.
"Hmm." Chen Yun slowly turned her head, the string in her heart being plucked by an invisible hand. The sweet aftertaste in her mouth lingered. She had indeed eaten candy.
I pinched a small piece of rock candy in the kitchen.
Zhou Wang's eyes were blazing: "No wonder it's so sweet."
Want to try it.
