The two chatted for a few more minutes before hanging up the phone.
Gu Youran looked at Shi Heng excitedly, her eyes curved into crescents, "Honey, it's Sister Fang calling."
"Invite us to return to Yuncheng the day after tomorrow to attend the full moon banquet for the twins. You still remember that woman who had a difficult labor but finally gave birth to twins safely."
Shi Heng nodded. "I remember you were so busy running around and exhausted."
"Mayor Su has been working hard for the people's livelihood in Yuncheng, and Sister Fang is so polite. We must take this full moon banquet seriously."
"Going to see those two little guys is like witnessing their growth."
Gu Youran tilted her head and said thoughtfully, "We have to prepare a good gift, not something too shabby. What do you think we should give?"
Shi Heng thought for a moment and said, "How about a pair of silver longevity locks? They have a good meaning and are also practical."
Gu Youran wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "Longevity locks are quite common. I want to give you something special."
The two of them talked back and forth for a long time but could not reach a conclusion.
