Lin Hao was not too surprised when he heard this.
After all, the success of this operation is the best proof of her ability.
"Congratulations, then. Our department is having a dinner party tonight, and it's my treat. Firstly, to welcome you, and secondly, to celebrate your promotion."
"Are you free tonight?"
Gu Youran was just about to agree.
The phone's message notification sounded.
She took out her cell phone, clicked on the screen and took a look.
It was a message from Shi Heng, along with a kissing emoticon.
Without taking a closer look, she took back her phone and looked at Lin Hao apologetically.
"Excuse me, I happen to be busy tonight?"
"Tomorrow night, I'll treat you and invite all the members of the department."
Lin Hao didn't argue with her and said readily, "Okay, tomorrow night then. You book a place and let me know, and I'll make the arrangements."
The two chatted for a few more minutes.
Lin Hao keenly noticed that there was a hint of fatigue on Gu Youran's face.
He said softly, "There's nothing else to do right now. Go to my lounge and have a good rest."
Gu Youran raised her wrist to look at her watch and saw that there were still two hours before the end of get off work.
"Okay, I'll go rest first, you go ahead and do your work."
She pushed open a door in the corner and walked straight in.
Inside is a small lounge.
The furnishings are simple, with only a single bed, a small desk and a chair.
The whole room was very clean and tidy, and it was Lin Hao's exclusive lounge.
Gu Youran didn't think much about it. He took off his white coat and shoes and lay down on the bed.
Pulling the quilt over herself, she could smell a faint minty scent, the usual scent of Lin Hao.
She closed her eyes and soon fell into a deep sleep.
