"New work?" she asked softly.
Shi Heng looked up and smiled, carefully placed his daughter in the crib, and meticulously tucked in the corners of the quilt before coming out.
"It's called 'The Adventures of the Little Orange Cat,'" he proudly opened the picture book and showed it to Su Niannian. "Today I saw a big orange cat in the park. Youbao loved it and insisted that I tell him a story about cats."
The orange cat in the picture book is lifelike, and every hair is painted in great detail. You can tell at a glance that a lot of thought was put into it.
Su Niannian flipped through the pages, each depicting a different scene:
The orange cat is rolling on the grass, sleeping on the tree, chasing birds... the painting is very vivid.

"I'm happy to!" Shi Heng said confidently, lowering his head and kissing her on the cheek. "I prefer being Youbao's exclusive storytelling father to being a CEO."
In the baby room, little Youbao turned over, smacked his lips a few times, and called out in a daze: "Daddy... cat wants..."
