When Su Manyun returned to the room, the wall clock had already shown past twelve o'clock.
She locked the door behind her and turned around to see the curtains moving and a familiar scent of cologne wafting over.
"Found it?"
A man's deliberately lowered voice came from the shadows, with a hint of impatience.
She tossed the ebony box onto the dressing table.
"Is this the box you're talking about?" His voice was filled with undisguised pride.
The man walked out quickly from behind the curtains. Just as his fingers were about to touch the lid of the box, Su Manyun suddenly stood in front of him.

She touched his chest with her fingertips and slid them down slowly. "Tell me first, is this the box?"

The man's eyes lingered on her open neckline, and his Adam's apple rolled unconsciously.
"Where did you find it?"
Su Manyun chuckled and twirled her fingertips around his tie.
"I found it in Old Madam Shi's room. It took me a lot of effort..."
"Well done." The man was in a good mood.
Su Manyun suddenly tightened her fingers, forcefully hooked her hand around his tie and pulled it down.
"Shi Jue is going to the Y Country branch after his injury heals, and I don't want him to leave..."
The man's hand touched her waist, "When have I ever lied to you about what I promised you?"
