"Well, I have something to do tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so I would like to take two days off." Gu Youran smiled.
Si Wenjie teased, "Hey, is it because Hengzi feels sorry for you and lets you rest for two days?"
"No." Gu Youran shook her head. "He's on a business trip in Country Y these days. Tomorrow is his birthday, and I want to give him a surprise."
"Tsk tsk, it's still good to have a wife, someone who loves you." Si Wenjie pretended to sigh, "Okay, you two can enjoy your own world, and leave the hospital matters to me."
"Thank you for your hard work, Brother Wenjie." Gu Youran stood up with a sincere tone.
"Why are you being so polite to me?" Si Wenjie said with a smile, "I've felt a lot more relaxed since you came to the hospital."
…
At six o'clock in the evening, on the way back to the villa.
Gu Youran was sitting in the passenger seat, resting with his eyes closed.
Suddenly, there was a sharp brake sound from the front.
Gu Youran opened her eyes immediately.
I saw a black car in front of me crashing into the guardrail as if it had lost control. The front of the car was instantly deformed, thick smoke was floating out of the window, and the air was filled with a burnt smell.
"Something happened!" Gu Youran's pupils shrank, "Zhuoran, stop the car!"
"Doctor Gu, this section of the road is too remote, we should not..."
"Saving people is the most important thing!"
Zhuoran gritted his teeth and slammed on the brakes.
The tires made a screeching sound as they rubbed against the ground.
Before the car completely stopped, Gu Youran had already pushed open the door and rushed towards the black car.
A middle-aged man was lying on the ground, struggling to climb out of the car.
There was blood on his face and he spoke weakly, "Save...save me..."
Gu Youran squatted beside him, placing her finger on the man's pulse, "Are you okay? Can you hear me?"
"Don't be afraid, I'm a doctor." Gu Youran quickly checked his injuries. "Zhuoran, there's a first aid kit in the car!"
"Be careful!" Zhuoran shouted.
Gu Youran suddenly turned around, only to find that the "injured" man suddenly turned over, with a cold light flashing in his hand, and pointed straight at her throat.
She quickly took two steps back, three silver needles already clamped between her fingertips, and asked coldly, "Who are you?"
The man grinned, "Doctor Gu, don't be nervous, our boss wants to invite you for a cup of tea, you should..."
Before he finished speaking.
Gu Youran shook her wrist, and the silver needle shot out, hitting the acupuncture point on the man's wrist.
“Dang—”
The man felt pain and dropped the dagger.
On the other side, Zhuoran was fighting with three men.
She was agile and her punches were fierce, but the opponent was outnumbered and she gradually fell into a disadvantage.
Gu Youran wanted to go forward to help, but was blocked by two men.
The silver needle flew out from her fingertips again and accurately pierced into someone's shoulder well acupoint.
The other party groaned and his movements slowed down.
"Don't move!"
A cold voice suddenly sounded, and the dagger in his hand was pressed against Zhuoran's neck, "If you move again, this woman will die."
Gu Youran suddenly stopped.
I saw a trace of blood oozing from Zhuoran's neck.
Gu Youran's eyes darkened, and her fingertips quietly pinched a few silver needles, "Don't hurt her, let her go, I will go with you."
"Doctor Gu, no! Don't worry about me, just go away..." Zhuoran struggled to break free from the restraints, but was pinned down by the other two men and could not move.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Gu Youran secretly took out a dozen silver needles.
Just as she was about to strike again, she felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck.
"You..." Gu Youran's vision gradually blurred and he fell down limply.
All that remained in my ears was Zhuoran's anxious cries, gradually fading away...
…
I don’t know how long it took.
Gu Youran slowly opened his eyes.
I found myself lying on a strange big bed.
The room was luxuriously decorated, with a crystal chandelier casting a dim light and heavy curtains drawn tightly, blocking out any sounds from the outside world.
The air was filled with a faint scent of incense.
She tried to move, but found her whole body was limp and she didn't even have the strength to lift her hands.
She was wearing a sexy bright red suspender nightgown, the fabric was so thin that it could hardly cover anything.
"You're awake."
A deep male voice came from the door.
Gu Youran reluctantly turned his head.
I saw a blond and blue-eyed foreign man leaning against the door, holding a glass of red wine in his hand. His bathrobe was open, revealing his strong chest.
"Who are you..." Gu Youran's voice was hoarse, and he tried hard to stay calm.
Her memory was a little confused. She only remembered being attacked by the kidnappers before she fell into a coma, and everything after that was blank.
"My name is Lucas." The man took a few steps closer and looked down at her. "Miss Gu, you are even more charming than I thought."
"What do you want to do?"
Gu Youran gritted her teeth and tried to hold herself up, but collapsed due to the effects of the drug.
"Don't waste your energy."
Lucas chuckled and placed the wine glass on the bedside table. "The 'Kiss of Red Flame' you were hit with will make you feel weak all over, but your consciousness will be exceptionally clear."
He leaned over and gently stroked her cheek with his fingers, "I prepared this medicine especially for you."
Gu Youran turned her head away, avoiding his touch. "Do you know what you are doing? Shi Heng will not let you go!"
"Shi Heng?" Lucas chuckled. "Here, no one will know what happened. Besides, you'll be begging me soon."
He said, reaching out to untie his bathrobe.
Gu Youran bit the tip of her tongue, using the pain to keep herself awake.
Her fingertips touched the Nine Star Ring.
"Stop struggling." Lucas seemed to see through her intentions. "With your current strength, you can't even kill an ant."
