Chapter 38 Beaver City 3
"They say it's going to rain every day. We've raised the air conditioning price three times, but there's not a drop of rain. What kind of expert is that?"
The proprietress said with some resentment.
Fu Anan watched the news broadcast intently. This dog game liked to hide what would happen in the future in the details.
When Fu Anan heard about the heavy rain, she took note of it.
After get off work, Fu Anan did not go back to the rental house directly, but went out for a look.
The weather was finally cooler in the evening, and Fu Anan, who was not in a hurry, walked further and further away.
I took a stroll for some unknown reason and ended up in a store that sold rain gear.
There was no rain for three consecutive months, and the business of the rain gear store almost hit rock bottom.
There was no one outside, and there were four big words on the glass - "Prime shop for sublease". A row of umbrellas, raincoats, rain boots, and waterproof pants were placed at the door, all with words saying "low price sale" on them.
Fu Anan stood at the door for a moment, attracted by the words "low price", and walked in unconsciously.
"Hey, what do you want to buy, little sister?"
Finally, a customer came and the boss came over enthusiastically.
Fu Anan looked at the umbrellas, raincoats, and waterproof pants he was selling at a low price and took one of each.
I used up all my money for the whole day today, and I also put some money in.
Fu Anan looked at the little change she had left and sighed, "I'm so poor."
The boss sighed as he looked at the money he had made today, feeling a bit like a fellow wanderer. "How about this, since you let me open the shop today, I'll give you one of the specials at the door."
"That's so bad." Fu Anan said sorry, bent down, and was not polite at all with his hands.
Rain gear owner: ...What an impolite girl.
Just then, Fu Anan suddenly saw a hairband.
Pure white.
On its surface, a spot of light quickly moved across for a moment, and the scene seemed familiar.
Fu Anan was startled, and reached out to pick up the hairband below. The moment she touched it, familiar words popped up -
[Congratulations on obtaining the "Space Bracelet," the only special item in this survival game. Once the bracelet is bound, it will follow the player until the end of the game or the player's death.]
Fu Anan carefully examined the hairband. It turned out that space props didn't always appear in the same form. No wonder no player had recognized her when she'd so brazenly put the bracelet on before.
Fu Anan felt as if she had suddenly realized something.
"Boss, I want this." Fu Anan said, holding up the hairband.
After spending a long time choosing, I finally picked a hairband, but it’s not their product.
The boss nodded with a smile on his face, saying "It's fine as long as you like it", but thinking in his heart that he had met a silly girl.
The moment Fu Anan got the space, he did not stop. He quickly returned to the rental house and carefully checked the space props. Except for the changed appearance, everything else was fine.
Even at five in the afternoon, the weather was extremely hot and humid.
But no matter how hot the weather is, it cannot stop Fu Anan from wanting to fill the space with props.
At the largest private hospital in downtown Beaver, a low-key black car appeared at the door.
Several people in black suits got out of the car, quickly carried several boxes of medicine printed in foreign languages, and hurried away.
In a simple little pharmacy on the street, Fu Anan bought some common anti-inflammatory drugs and cold medicines.
As I walked back down the street, a cool breeze suddenly rustled the birch trees on either side, and the garbage that the cleaners hadn't yet swept up was lifted high and blew forward.
