Chapter 4 Sailing Carnival 4

Chapter 4 Sailing Carnival 4

The corridor is not exposed to sunlight, but is brightly lit by lights.

Fu Anan opened the door in front of her. The room was dark, and the bedspread was swaying slightly, as if something was lurking under it. She had been fine yesterday, but today, she felt inexplicably nervous.

"Brother Li, I'm here to bring you some food."

She reached out and turned on the light in the room.

Suddenly there were cries of alarm from across the room, “Turn it off!”

Fu Anan shuddered, startled by the person inside. She quickly turned off the light, took a step back, and stood outside his room.

"Are you okay?" Fu Anan asked.

"I'm sorry to scare you. My eyesight has been bad lately and I'm particularly afraid of bright light." Brother Li's voice was a little strange. Besides being rough and hoarse, it also sounded like he was shouting with great difficulty.

"Please help me...help me bring the food in."

Fu Anan looked at the food on the dining car and hesitated for a moment. For some reason, she always felt that it would be better for her not to go in.

From childhood to adulthood, Fu Anan's intuition has always been accurate, so she took his food and put it down at the door.

"Brother Li, I still have to deliver food to the other crew members. I've left yours at the door. If you need anything else, please let me know and I'll deliver it directly to your door."

After Fu Anan finished speaking, regardless of what the people behind her said, she pushed the small food cart and took the elevator to the deck.

"Does anyone know what that pile of stuff in Area A3 is? I passed by it today and it smelled so disgusting it almost made me vomit."

When Fu Anan went up, he happened to hear several crew members discussing today's work.

"I heard it was some kind of dry cargo, maybe rotten." Another person nodded and continued, "I smelled that smell in Area B1 too, and it almost sent me packing. They said there's this stench in other areas too. Maybe we're transporting shit this time."

"Shit doesn't smell like this." The person next to him poked him, "Stop talking! Are you going to let me eat?"

Fu Anan took the food out of the dining car and looked up at the sky.

The temperature was still very hot, but there was no trace of the sun. The clouds in the sky were getting more and more, and the waves on the sea were getting higher and higher.

"Brother, I want to ask when the storm will come?"

"Probably... tonight." The sailor glanced at Fu Anan. "Are you scared of your first time out to sea? Relax. You'll just be a little shaky when you sleep at night."

night

After delivering the meal, Fu Anan returned to her room.

Worried about the coming storm, she kept an eye on the situation outside.

Fortunately, she bought an inflatable boat. If the boat really sank, she could use the inflatable boat to stay on the sea for 30 days.

Fu Anan lay on the bed thinking, and looked at the clock on the wall. It was now six thirteen.

Not long after, just as they had warned, lightning flashed outside and ******* roared towards them.

Fu Anan waited nervously, but the storm seemed to lack some of its power against the massive freighter. Leaning against the wall, Fu Anan could only vaguely hear the sound of thunder.

Compared to this, other sounds on the ship are more noteworthy.

"Xiao Li, Xiao Li, what's wrong with you?"

"Fuck! Don't bite me!"

The voice of Chef Zhu from the kitchen came from the corridor.

Fu Anan opened the door and saw many people coming out.

At the end to the right of her room, Master Zhu ran out of Brother Li's room with a panicked look on his face, holding his injured arm.
