Chapter 6 Sailing Carnival 6

Chapter 6 Sailing Carnival 6

Although the doctors are doing their best to treat them, their condition has not improved at all.

The wounds continued to bleed and refused to heal, oozing pus and dark blood. Even worse, some began to develop symptoms similar to Li Ge's—photophobia and drooling.

This disease is really contagious!

Then their consciousness became somewhat unclear, their pupils began to shrink, their bodies became stiff, and when they moved, their joints could be heard cracking. The bitten crew members also began to like eating raw meat, and the rawer the meat, the better.

When Fu Anan delivered the food, he stared at her as if he was staring at a piece of raw meat, and the look in his eyes was creepy.

Fu Anan's heart beat faster, and her sixth sense urged her to leave quickly.

She moved toward the door and looked at the doctor beside her. "Doctor Song, I think it's better for us not to stay here. Do you want to go out with me?"

"You can go out." Doctor Song shook his head. "After you help us deliver enough food for three days, don't come back. If we are still not cured after three days, you can take care of us the same way you delivered meals to Brother Li."

Fu Anan was stunned when she heard his words, "Doctor Song, you..."

"I was bitten, too." Doctor Song pulled back his sleeve, revealing the blood-soaked gauze on his arm. "I feel very uncomfortable. All the medicine on the freighter is here. If there's still no way to treat it, then there's really nothing we can do. We can only see if we can hold out until the freighter docks, and then go to the hospital."

As Dr. Song spoke, a hint of helplessness appeared on his face.

Fu Anan was silent for a moment, "Doctor Song, do you want to eat anything?"

"Anything, as long as it fills my stomach." said Dr. Song. He was not a person who paid much attention to appetite.

"Okay." Fu Anan agreed and turned to leave when Dr. Song stopped her again.

He stared at Fu Anan for a full two seconds, his eyes slightly bloodshot, and then his throat rolled up and down, "Bring us some meat, rare steak."

That look again!

Fu Anan swallowed, pretended to be calm, and pushed three carts of rare steaks over.

The last steak from the food truck was pulled into the infirmary, and with a bang, the infirmary was locked.

The lights in the infirmary were turned off instantly.

Fu Anan stood at the door and heard the sound of someone chewing meat frantically, as well as strange roars coming from the throat that had been suppressed for a long time.

The people standing in the corridor looked inside the door with strange eyes. Even Dr. Song was infected. They became neither human nor ghost, causing panic in the cabin.

Fu Anan ignored the glances from the corridor and ran towards the captain's control room without looking back.

"Captain, completely isolate Brother Li and the infirmary. This disease is truly contagious!" Fu Anan said. "They look horrible after being infected, just like the zombies in the movies."

The crew members who followed Fu Anan also heard it.

They looked at each other and quietly returned to the room.

"This game is about zombies, right?"

"Very likely." The short-haired man named Li Gao nodded. "If that's true, there are only about forty people on the entire freighter. A zombie outbreak here is probably our luckiest ever."

The four of them are all players, and they started to work together very early after entering the game.

Three men and one woman, all veterans of this doomsday game.

"Don't get too excited. Doomsday games aren't meant to be easy to beat," said Gao Feiyan, the only female player. "Maybe they'll throw some unexpected surprises our way."
