Chapter 137: Master Shi

Shi Yiyin had exhausted her words.

Whenever the topic of the big white goose was mentioned, Qin Sui’an would look around, praising everything he could think of.

From the stars in the sky to the clouds and even the swimming pool guards, he didn’t miss a single detail.

Shi Yiyin, who was initially enthusiastic, now felt the urge to yawn.

She glanced at the sleeping big white goose and then at her adorable, innocent, and guilty-looking doll-like sister.

Helplessly, she sighed, "Ah, Ann, please stop praising. It makes me want to sleep with the big white goose too."

Qin Sui’an blinked her round, shiny eyes and kindly suggested, "Sister Yiyin, you can sleep in Ann’s room. Ann’s bed is so big!"

She stretched out her little hands, trying to demonstrate.

If it were someone else, Shi Yiyin would have been angry at such a diversion instead of a direct answer.

But looking at her doll-like sister’s cute face and listening to her soft, baby-like voice, Shi Yiyin didn’t show any signs of anger.

Instead, she felt guilty for being too harsh.

The big white goose, half-asleep, struggled to open its small eyes upon hearing Shi Yiyin’s murmurs.

It confirmed that it hadn’t misjudged her.

She truly deserved the title of a qualified human baby.

"Ann!" Qin Qianyi hurriedly ran over to the pool, squatting down and anxiously examining his sister Ann.

He asked with concern, "Ann, are you hurt? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Did someone bully you?"

He asked three questions in a row.

Qin Sui’an blinked her innocent, round eyes and shook her little head, her sweet voice answering, "Sixth Brother, no! No! No!"

After answering her Eldest Brother’s three questions, Qin Sui’an continued earnestly, "Sixth Brother, Ann made the uncle bodyguard kick her out."

Her unrelated words didn’t match the context at all.

Qin Qianyi looked around and immediately understood.

"Is it that Shao Xinxin?

He had overheard some guests whispering about their family bodyguard kicking a child out.

Qin Qianyi didn’t care much about such matters, thinking it was just some misbehaving child who had been kicked out by his brothers.

But it turned out to be his sister Ann who had made someone kick out Shao Xinxin!

"Yes!" Qin Sui’an nodded her little head, her voice still slightly annoyed, "Ann doesn’t like her!"

Qin Qianyi strongly agreed, "Ann did the right thing. If you don’t like someone, they should be kicked out!"

No joking around, this was their home after all!

Qin Yaoyu caught up and saw his sister Ann frowning, her cheeks slightly puffed up, clearly angry.

He quickly asked, "What’s wrong with Ann? Who made Ann unhappy?"

"It’s the Shao family’s daughter, Shao Xinxin," Qin Qianyi answered on behalf of his sister Ann, taking the opportunity to praise her, "Fifth Brother, you can rest assured. Ann has grown up now and won’t let anyone bully her. She knows how to make the bodyguards kick them out." 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Qin Yaoyu raised an eyebrow in surprise, "Really?"

"Yes, Fifth Brother, it’s true," Qin Sui’an patted her little tummy, "Ann has grown up."

Qin Yaoyu’s inquisitive gaze fell on his Sixth Brother, "What about the words on the ground earlier."

Qin Qianyi winked at him, indicating they would discuss it later.

He changed the subject, turning to Ann who seemed down beside them, "She looks familiar. Who is she?"

Qin Yaoyu bent down slightly, examining the girl’s face, "Isn’t she from the Shi family? She looks a bit like Auntie Shujie."

"Meng Shujie is my mom’s name," Shi Yiyin perked up, greeting Qin Yaoyu and Qin Qianyi, "Hello, Brother Yaoyu, Brother Qianyi."

"Oh, you’re Shi Yiyin," Qin Qianyi remembered.

She was the daughter of Shi Yuezhan, the chairman of the Shi Corporation.

"Did Uncle Shi not attend the banquet? You’re the only child here?"

"My dad is sick, so my mom is with him," Shi Yiyin replied.

"I came with my cousin."

"Your cousin?" Qin Qianyi pondered for a moment.

"Oh, the one called Shi..."

He couldn’t recall the name.

Never mind, it wasn’t important.

Qin Qianyi decisively skipped that topic and looked at his sister Ann.

His expression softened considerably as he spoke gently, "Ann, what are you all doing here? Do you want to go swimming?"

"No swimming," Qin Sui’an shook her little head, speaking softly, "The old man said the pool is dangerous, and children shouldn’t go there."
