Chapter 206: The Cute and Talented Little Prodigy

Old Madam Ye hugged her tightly, feeling genuinely proud, and praised, "Ann, you’re so amazing!"

Qin Sui’an’s little face blushed, and she nestled her head in her grandmother’s arms, hesitating to lift it up.

Old Madam Ye couldn’t see Little One’s face clearly, but she could clearly see the rosy little ears.

She smiled instantly, her eyes full of endless indulgence, "Is Ann feeling shy?"

Qin Sui’an nodded gently, "Mm."

Old Madam Ye rubbed her head and said softly, "Everyone is genuinely praising you, Ann. You’re really talented and played so well!"

Qin Sui’an finally raised her head from her grandmother’s embrace, happily blinked her round eyes, and giggled, "Thank you, Grandma!"

Then, Qin Sui’an stood up, her chubby cheeks flushed pink, as cute as a round little apple.

She blinked her big round eyes and, in her childish voice, said to everyone applauding, "Thank you, everyone!"

Already being skilled at playing the piano had won everyone’s hearts, and now seeing Little One so cute and speaking with such a sweet voice, the surrounding exclamations of amazement resumed:

"This little one is so adorable!"

"So obedient and cute!"

"Not only does she play the piano well, but she also looks so good!"

...

Old Madam Ye bent down slightly and asked Little One, "Ann, do you want to play more?"

Qin Sui’an immediately shook her head, "No."

She just wanted to give it a try, and she had already done so. Besides, this piano wasn’t theirs, and this wasn’t their home either.

Old Madam Ye picked her up and returned to their table.

Qin Haochen had already finished his lunch, with a gentle smile of pride, he looked at Little One, "Ann is amazing, she learned to play that piano piece after hearing it just once."

"Hehe," Qin Sui’an happily pounced into her father’s arms.

Old Master Ye had also finished his lunch, his excitement barely concealed, "Ann plays so well! Such talent is rare! Ann, I..."

Before he could finish saying that he wanted to buy a piano for Little One, Old Madam Ye promptly pulled his hand and gave him a meaningful look.

Old Master Ye looked at her in confusion.

What’s wrong? He wanted to buy a piano for his granddaughter, is there anything wrong with that?

Old Madam Ye leaned close to his ear, originally intending to tell him softly, but suddenly, she remembered Little One’s astonishing hearing.

She gave up persuading him and just shook her head at him.

Old Master Ye became even more puzzled.

But she must have her reasons for doing so.

Old Master Ye didn’t dwell on it and happily watched Little One.

After lunch and a short rest, it was just past two in the afternoon.

Old Madam Ye’s car was parked at the restaurant entrance, and Qin Haochen’s car had been brought over by the bodyguards from the competition venue parking lot.

Qin Sui’an, full and satisfied from lunch and having played the piano, was now lazily leaning against her father’s chest, feeling drowsy.

Old Madam Ye and Old Master Ye’s steps slowed down, as if they didn’t want to walk towards their car, reluctant to part with Little One.

Qin Haochen also deliberately slowed his pace.

Qin Sui’an rested her little head on her father’s sturdy and broad shoulder, and in her soft childish voice, she asked, "Daddy, can Ann go see mommy?"

"Of course," Qin Haochen naturally wouldn’t refuse Little One.

After a pause, he added, "Daddy just received a phone call and might have to go back to work. Ann, you go with your grandma and grandpa to see your mommy, Daddy won’t come along."

Little One let out a disappointed sigh, "Aww..."

Qin Haochen didn’t miss her sigh, his heart suddenly tightening, but he pretended not to hear it.

He held Little One and stopped beside the Ye family’s Maserati.

Old Madam Ye and Old Master Ye both paused for a moment, then quickly walked up.

Qin Haochen turned to them and said, "Mom, Dad, Ann wants to go see her mommy."

Old Madam Ye was the first to react, smiling joyfully, "Okay."

Lucy opened the rear door, and Qin Haochen noticed that there was now a child safety seat installed in the back, obviously newly added.

He bent down and placed Little One in the child safety seat, carefully fastening her seatbelt.

Seeing a hint of sadness in Little One’s expression, Qin Haochen reached out and gently rubbed her little head, asking softly, "Ann, should Daddy come to pick you up later tonight, or should I come tomorrow?"

Qin Sui’an shook her head slightly, "Ann doesn’t know."

At this moment, Little One’s emotions were complex. She wanted to be with Mommy, but she also wanted to be with Daddy. Why couldn’t they all be together?

Qin Haochen didn’t force her to make a decision right away and coaxed, "Be good, let Daddy know later when to come by calling him."

Old Madam Ye and Old Master Ye got into the back seat one after the other.

Lucy waited for a few seconds, seeing that Mr. Qin didn’t intend to get in the car, then closed the rear door.

As the rear window descended, Qin Sui’an raised her little hand to bid farewell to her father, "Daddy, bye~"

"Goodbye, Ann."

Qin Haochen watched their car leave, standing still for a moment before turning back to his own car and getting in.

The child seat beside him was empty, just like his heart.

He sighed silently and instructed the driver, "Go to the company."

"Okay, Mr. Qin," the driver immediately responded, starting the engine and driving towards the direction of the Qin Corporation.

---

The Maserati drove smoothly all the way and entered the parking lot of Yangkang Hospital, parking in its designated spot.

Qin Sui’an fell asleep groggily, her little head obediently leaning against the seat back.

Old Madam Ye and Old Master Ye got out of the car quietly.

Then, Old Madam Ye turned around and carefully unfastened the seatbelt from Little One.

Her movements were gentle, and Little One hadn’t fallen into a deep sleep yet. Her heavy eyelids fluttered slightly, "Mmm... Grandma..."

In her soft voice, she called out to her grandma, then closed her eyes again.

Old Madam Ye gently coaxed, "Good girl, Ann, we’ve arrived at the hospital. I’ll carry you upstairs."

"Mmm." Qin Sui’an responded softly again, her little hands trying hard to lift up, obediently allowing her grandma to carry her.

Old Madam Ye lifted her out of the child safety seat, adjusted her posture, and carefully carried her towards the elevator, followed closely by Old Master Ye.

In the hospital room, Little One’s small bed was still there, clean and tidy.

The toys brought from Bay Villa last time had been taken back, but there were still many cute plush dolls in the bed, newly bought by Ye Rongyuan.

Old Master Ye arranged the small pillow and blanket, and together with Old Madam Ye, they tucked Little One into bed.

This time, Qin Sui’an didn’t open her eyes. Her little nose twitched slightly, as if smelling a familiar scent, and she continued to sleep soundly, feeling very reassured.
