Chapter 226: How Much is a Few Billion

There was no wardrobe in the room, so Old Madam Ye took little one’s suitcase to the adjacent lounge. She had bought a new wardrobe in advance, which was already filled with the beautiful little clothes they had bought for little one. The new wardrobe couldn’t fit the clothes little one brought from Bay Villa.

Old Madam Ye cleared space in the wardrobe where she originally hung her own clothes and then hung up the clothes from little one’s suitcase one by one. After organizing them, she stood in front of the wardrobe, looking at the clearly two different styles of clothes inside, and couldn’t help but smile.

Her precious granddaughter was back. And she had always firmly believed that her daughter would also come back.

After wiping away the tears from the corners of her eyes and settling her emotions, she returned to the adjacent hospital room. Just adding little one made the atmosphere in the ward exceptionally warm, as if every inch of air was filled with a pleasant fragrance.

At this moment, Qin Sui’an was playing chess with her second uncle Ye Liyuan.

Ye Rongyuan sat on the side and watched. After noticing that his second brother’s chess skills were not that great, his expression gradually became smug. "Second Brother, with your level, shouldn’t you spare Ann’s time? Ann is letting you win all along, that’s why you’ve reached this point."

Ye Liyuan wasn’t at all angered by his words. Instead, a hint of joy surfaced between his eyebrows. "I know, Ann is deliberately letting me win."

He had watched the recording of Ann’s chess matches. As long as the opponent was someone Ann liked, she would deliberately let them win. Just like now, she liked him, so she let him win.

Qin Sui’an saw that her blatant favoritism had been exposed, her little face blushing, but she still kindly comforted her second uncle in a childish tone, "Second Uncle, you’re also good at chess!"

Compared to some opponents she had encountered, her second uncle could easily make it into the top ten in her book!

"Thank you, Ann. I’ll continue to work hard." Ye Liyuan smiled, his eyes twinkling with joy.

Ye Rongyuan leaned in front of Ann with a pitiful look and asked, "Ann, what about me? Am I good?"

Qin Sui’an immediately nodded her little head, her round eyes full of sincerity. "Third Uncle is also good!"

Ye Rongyuan exaggeratedly held his heart and laughed happily, "Having Ann say that is enough!"

Old Master Ye watched them, shaking his head helplessly. Hearing the sound of the door opening, he turned his head and saw his wife returning. He got up to greet her, "Is everything sorted out?"

"Yeah, Ann doesn’t have many clothes," Old Madam Ye looked at little one and smiled, "Ann just finished her match, and you two uncles are bothering her to play chess with you. Do you feel ashamed?"

What if little one gets tired? Playing chess requires brainpower, especially since little one has to think of ways not to win against them, which requires a lot of brainpower.

Ye Rongyuan immediately distanced himself from his second brother, "Mom, I didn’t play chess with Ann!"

Ye Liyuan glanced at him, "Can you be quiet? You’re disturbing my concentration."

"Whether you concentrate or not, you still can’t win against Ann," Ye Rongyuan smirked triumphantly, as if he had won against his second brother.

Qin Sui’an glanced at her third uncle and then at her second uncle, happily watching their banter, her round eyes curving into crescents. She found it amusing to see the two uncles arguing.

Old Madam Ye watched them play chess for a few minutes and found that it was as she had imagined. Poor little one was trying hard not to win against Liyuan. She got up and went into the room to check the little bed little one would sleep in. Then she came to the bedside and gently held her daughter’s hand, who was still unconscious.

"Zhaosi has been asleep for three years. It’s time for her to wake up." Old Madam Ye looked at her daughter’s peaceful sleeping face, her expression involuntarily clouded with sorrow.

Old Master Ye walked quietly into the hospital room, putting his arm around her shoulder, silently accompanying her and their daughter.

In the living room, a game of chess had been going on for almost half an hour before it finally ended. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

If it weren’t for Ann, Ye Rongyuan would have lost interest long ago. As soon as the game ended, he quickly packed up the chessboard. "Second Brother, I suspect you were intentionally dragging it out."

His aim was to be able to sit face to face with Ann and play chess.

"That’s a valid suspicion," Ye Liyuan admitted. If it weren’t for his lack of skill, he would be willing to play chess with Ann like this forever.

Ye Rongyuan gently held Ann’s little hand. "Ann, next time you don’t need to spare your second uncle’s feelings too much. It should only take about five or six minutes to capture all his pieces."

Qin Sui’an giggled happily. "Third Uncle, you can still win without capturing all his pieces."

"Oh right, I forgot." Ye Rongyuan slapped his forehead in mock annoyance. "Anyway, it’s better to finish a game in five or six minutes. It’s been almost half an hour, it’s exhausting."

Ye Liyuan looked at his younger brother disdainfully. "Our group is managed by someone like you, and yet we haven’t gone bankrupt? It’s a miracle."

"Second Brother, you should thank me, not heaven," Ye Rongyuan joked. "There’s nothing I can do. I’m just too talented. Not only has the group not gone bankrupt, but its market value has also increased significantly over the past few years."

Ye Liyuan didn’t react much, teasing his younger brother verbally, but also understanding that his younger brother did have some skill. Otherwise, the group would have gone bankrupt in his first year of management.

Turning his head, he suddenly noticed that Ann’s expression was very serious, as if she was very interested in the affairs of the group. He raised his eyebrows slightly, bent down slightly, and asked her, "Is Ann curious about our group’s affairs?"

Qin Sui’an shook her little head, then nodded, her cute little voice soft and fluffy. "Daddy also has a group, and Third Uncle also has a group. Are they the same group?"

Ye Rongyuan smiled patiently, explaining, "No, they’re not the same, but the way they operate is similar. Your dad is Ann’s father, and his is Qin Corporation, while mine is our family’s Ye Corporation."

Ann blinked her round eyes as if half understanding. "Oh~~" It’s just that their names are different~

"Ann, in our Ye Corporation, you also have shares. There are monthly dividends and year-end bonuses. The money is all saved up!" Ye Rongyuan calculated, "From the time you were born until now, you must have earned a few billion in dividends."

Ann’s shareholding is quite large, including the additional shares they each gave her, as well as the shares their sister transferred to Ann’s name. These shares, when added up, are enough to make the little milk ball call the shots at the shareholders’ meeting and do whatever she wants.

Qin Sui’an listened carefully, but it seemed like she didn’t quite understand yet, and hadn’t truly grasped the concept of money.

She tilted her little head in confusion, asking, "Third Uncle, how much is a few billion?"
