Chapter 234: Ann Has a Lot of Money

While Qin Sui’an, little one, was napping in the room, her third uncle had already sold her painting for a very good price. Ou Yangfu wasn’t in City A, but he was eager to fly over to see the painting with his own eyes, focusing especially on seeing the little one who had painted it. He initially wanted to video call little one on his phone, but Ye Rongyuan vetoed it immediately, and his reasoning was quite appropriate.

[Ye Rongyuan: Right now, you’re like a crazy uncle. My niece would be scared of you.]

Ou Yangfu felt he was being too much. Although he was a bit excited, he couldn’t be called "crazy"! However, Ou Yangfu didn’t insist and just invited them to attend his father’s birthday banquet. Ye Rongyuan didn’t immediately agree; Old Mr. Ou’s birthday banquet was the day after tomorrow, and if little one was interested, they would bring her along.

After Qin Sui’an had a short nap, she woke up a little after four in the afternoon. The Ye family hadn’t left, and as soon as they saw her awake, several people gathered around her. Old Madam Ye first hugged little one from the bed, gently combing her somewhat messy hair with one hand.

"Ann, awake?"

"Yes~" Qin Sui’an’s round eyes curved, her soft voice melting hearts. Ye Rongyuan immediately approached and reported the latest progress to little one: "Ann, your painting has been sold for a total of eleven million!"

Qin Sui’an blinked her round eyes in confusion, "Eleven million?" She tilted her little head in puzzlement. How much money was that? Seeing little one’s face full of confusion, Ye Rongyuan smiled and patiently explained,

"It’s not a lot, but it’s not a little either. It’s probably..." He pondered for a moment, "probably the prize money for winning more than a thousand small chess competitions."

Qin Sui’an earnestly counted on her fingers, her already round and big eyes widening even more. She opened her small mouth in astonishment, "Wow~ Then Ann has a lot of money!"

"Haha..." Ye Rongyuan didn’t expect little one to be so easily satisfied. He gently pinched her soft cheek. "Just eleven million." Old Madam Ye swatted his hand away.

"Ann is still young; don’t instill wrong values in her." Eleven million in cash weighed several times more than little one’s body weight combined.

Despite getting hit, Ye Rongyuan didn’t withdraw his hand, pinching her cheeks a few more times before reluctantly pulling it back. Considering that little one would be staying here for the next few days, the living room, which originally only had a table and sofa, now had some new furniture, and the space had been rearranged simply.

When Qin Sui’an stepped out of the room, her attention was immediately drawn to the colorful foam fence that had been added to the living room. She blinked her round eyes curiously, "Grandma, what’s that?"

"Your second uncle bought it for you." Old Madam Ye carried her over. One-third of the living room was fenced off with colorful foam, inside of which were soft animated mats and various children’s toys and dolls, forming a cute little entertainment area.

With a childlike heart, Qin Sui’an was full of curiosity about these new toys and dolls. Old Madam Ye took her over and sat down, her gentle gaze falling on little one.

"Ann, what do you want to play with?"

Qin Sui’an happily pursed her lips, feeling extremely shy. "Grandma, Ann wants to play with everything~"

"Then let’s take our time." Old Madam Ye indulgently smiled, playing with her through all these fresh toys.

Ye Liyuan stood aside, seeing how much Ann was enjoying herself, the smile on her lips growing deeper. Ye Rongyuan eagerly joined in, sitting inside and playing with Ann with the toys suitable for children.

It wasn’t until dinner was ready that Qin Sui’an came out of this little entertainment paradise. Dinner was still sumptuous, tempting everyone’s taste buds with its color, fragrance, and taste.

With little one present, everyone couldn’t help but eat a little more. During the post-dinner rest, Ye Rongyuan remembered the Ou family banquet and asked Ann, the little one, "Ann, there’s a banquet the day after tomorrow. Do you want to go?"
