Chapter 295: Big Goose’s New Way of Communication

The bodyguard stepped forward, pulling out a chair for Mr. Zhu Xiulin.

Zhu Xiulin sat in a position slightly forward and to the side of Little One. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Even now, he was still somewhat overwhelmed, feeling like an ordinary person who had accidentally wandered into a wealthy household.

If someone had told him a few days ago, or even this morning, that he would be having lunch with the Qin family, Zhu Xiulin would have thought they were crazy, spouting nonsense.

But here he was, sitting in the castle dining room of Bay Villa, having lunch with Little One of the Qin family, along with Old Mrs. Qin, Old Mr. Qin, Mr. Qin, and the others.

The Qin family didn’t seem to pay much attention to the addition of an outsider. They ate as they usually did, showing no undue interest in Zhu Xiulin, nor did they intentionally ignore his presence.

Occasionally, Old Mr. Qin would glance in his direction and ask, "Mr. Zhu Xiulin, is our food to your liking?"

"It’s delicious. Your chef must be a master; this kind of skill could rival Michelin." Zhu Xiulin spoke the truth.

He was somewhat picky when it came to food, but at the Qin family’s table, he couldn’t find any faults.

More importantly, Little One was there, cheerfully eating and looking adorable. Her soft face puffed up with food, she chewed earnestly, even cuter than a little hamster.

Although Zhu Xiulin couldn’t see her little feet hidden under the table, he could imagine them moving happily.

In his mind, the outline of a painting emerged. He really wanted to set down his utensils immediately, pick up his paintbrush and canvas, and capture that cute scene on paper.

Zhu Xiulin sighed inwardly. If things continued like this, he might end up specializing in portraits of human toddlers.

Thinking of this human toddler being Little One, he supposed he could accept it?

Qin Haochen fed Little One until she was full, then lifted her from her children’s chair to let her play.

Qin Sui’an, with her belly round from eating, walked slowly out of the dining room, her short legs swinging leisurely.

Back in the living room, she saw her teacher putting the finishing touches on his painting.

Even though it wasn’t fully revealed yet, just by looking, Little One could tell her teacher was painting her again, along with Big Goose.

She waved her little hand and called out to Big Goose, "Big Goose, look! You and Ann are in the painting!"

"Honk~" Big Goose waddled over, stretching its long neck to peer at the painting. "Honk~ That’s really me! Nicely done!"

Big Goose was quite satisfied and was about to carefully inspect its depiction when its bean-sized eyes suddenly closed.

It let out a honk and weakly slumped toward Little Ann. "Honk..."

"Big Goose! What’s wrong, Big Goose!" Qin Sui’an hurriedly embraced it, anxiously patting its small head. "Is Big Goose sick?"

"Honk..." Big Goose hesitated, the intense stabbing pain finally subsiding. It looked at Little Ann with worry.

Big Goose had sensed danger around Little Ann again!

Little Ann was still young, but only she could understand its goose language. Big Goose was so distressed it almost burst into tears.

Big Goose looked at the painting and suddenly had an idea!

Yes, humans could convey messages through paintings, so it could also hold a paintbrush and draw. That way, Little Ann’s family would understand what it wanted to say!
