Chapter 307: Who is ’X’?

Old Mr. Qin, not deaf at all, immediately shot a cold glance at his grandson, "Who says I don’t know how to ride? Look, I can ride just fine now!"

Qin Qianyi gently nudged Qin Yaoyu, signaling him to go and see for himself how Grandpa was riding the bicycle.

Qin Yaoyu, still not having properly greeted his younger sister, shot an annoyed glance at Qin Qianyi before walking towards Grandpa.

Old Mr. Qin still had his protective gear on, but he had discarded the helmet, finding it too cumbersome and had thrown it on the grass.

To prove that he could indeed ride a bicycle, Old Mr. Qin pedaled with ease, and the bicycle moved straight ahead.

Qin Yaoyu frowned in confusion, "Isn’t Grandpa quite good at riding?"

Qin Qianyi explained, "Grandpa can’t turn yet. Hurry up and catch up, or Grandpa will start ’cheating,’ and if that happens, he won’t be able to learn properly in a few days."

Qin Yaoyu remained skeptical, watching from a distance.

Sure enough, not long after, he saw Grandpa riding halfway, getting off the bike to manually turn it around.

Qin Yaoyu: ...

He was silent for a few seconds, then, with a look of resignation, quickly ran over.

Old Mrs. Qin watched with a smile as her husband was being taught by their grandson how to turn. Feeling a bit proud, she turned to look at her granddaughter, "Ann, Grandpa is a bit timid, isn’t he? He’s afraid to turn around."

Qin Sui’an, having put on her helmet and protective gear again, was ready to practice a few more laps on her bicycle. Hearing her grandmother’s words, she smiled and said, "Grandpa will be brave!"

The bodyguards brought over the bicycles for Qin Yanyi and Qin Lvzheng and placed them in front of them.

Qin Yanyi looked serious, "How do you ride this?"

Qin Lvzheng glanced at Grandpa in the distance, swung his long leg over the bicycle, and was about to get on.

At that moment, a concerned little voice called out:

"Third Brother, you can’t ride yet~" Qin Sui’an, flapping her little hands, lightly patted the helmet on her head, then pointed to her protective gear.

With big, earnest eyes, she said, "Third Brother, you need to wear this, this, and this to ride! It’s dangerous otherwise!"

Qin Lvzheng looked at the bicycle, which was still a bit short for his legs, and then at his worried younger sister.

He found it a bit amusing but obediently said, "Alright, I’ll put it on and then ride."

Qin Yanyi’s lips also curved into a smile as he instructed the bodyguard to fetch the protective gear and helmet.

Qin Niexun, seizing the opportunity before they began practicing, borrowed their bicycles, rode around, and came back easily.

With the help of her grandmother, Qin Sui’an got on her adorable mini bicycle and rode around the lawn.

As she passed by Grandpa and Fifth Brother, she cheerfully shouted, "Grandpa, go for it~ Fifth Brother, go for it~"

Qin Yaoyu first chuckled, "Do I need encouragement too?"

Nearby, Old Mr. Qin pedaled along, smiling broadly despite not having made a good impression on his granddaughter. Just hearing that cheerful encouragement made him feel energized.

The lawn was abuzz with activity, a rare sight at Bay Villa, as everyone prioritized little Ann’s safety, choosing the most basic and eco-friendly bicycles over convenient cars.

During the time little Ann was learning to ride, Qin Haochen contacted Ann’s maternal grandparents and didn’t hide the details about the dangerous message in the painting of the white goose.

Old Mr. Ye was somewhat surprised. He knew his granddaughter’s pet white goose was quite perceptive, but could it really foresee future dangers?

Compared to Old Mr. Ye’s confusion, Old Mrs. Ye received the news calmly and agreed with Qin Haochen’s approach. They wouldn’t risk using Ann to "test" the white goose’s foresight.

After discussing the matter with the Ye family, Qin Haochen went to wait at the castle entrance for Ann’s return.

By the time dinner was ready, Old Mrs. Qin and Old Mr. Qin brought their grandchildren back to the castle.

Qin Sui’an, having ridden her mini bicycle energetically, arrived at the castle door first. She leaned the bicycle against the steps and, balancing on one tiptoe, jumped off.

The mini bicycle was still a bit high for her, but after some practice, she could get on and off it independently.

Old Mrs. Qin, Old Mr. Qin, and the other bicycles were lined up next to the mini bicycle.

Ann’s brothers also neatly parked their bicycles.

In the coming days, these bicycles would be their means of transportation within Bay Villa until Ann’s safety was fully ensured.

As soon as Qin Sui’an jumped off the bicycle, she rushed toward her father, "Daddy~"

"Ann." Qin Haochen stepped forward, half-squatting to catch her securely and help remove her helmet and protective gear, handing them to a nearby bodyguard.

Qin Sui’an, snuggling into her father’s arms with her stomach growling, said softly, "Daddy, Ann is hungry~"

"Dinner is ready, we’re going to eat now." Qin Haochen gently replied, rubbing her little head and carrying her into the castle.

Qin Sui’an rested her little head on her father’s shoulder and waved to her family, "Grandpa, Grandma, Second Brother, Third Brother, Fourth Brother, Fifth Brother, Big Brother, it’s time to eat!"

After shouting, she suddenly exclaimed, "Daddy, where’s Big Brother?"

Qin Haochen patiently explained, "He has other matters tonight and won’t be home for dinner."

Qin Fujia had sent a message that a special guest had come up suddenly and he couldn’t leave right away.

"Big Brother is so busy~" Qin Sui’an sighed like a little adult, "It’s almost dark and he still hasn’t finished."

Qin Haochen smiled, "Don’t worry, he’ll take care of himself."

In the dining room, a rich and nutritious dinner was laid out on the table, emitting a mouthwatering aroma.

After practicing bicycle riding in the afternoon, everyone’s appetite had increased a bit, including little Ann.

Qin Qianyi, who usually ate slowly, had expended a lot of energy teaching Ann, Grandpa, Grandma, and the other brothers, so he ate heartily and quickly finished.

He leaned back in his chair, took out his phone, and opened the album to look at the photo taken in the afternoon. He then showed it off to his Fifth Brother sitting next to him, "Fifth Brother, have you seen my Moments?"

"I blocked it." Qin Yaoyu replied, glancing at the phone screen before quickly leaning in, "Did you post Ann’s photo on Moments?"

He immediately pulled out his phone, opened Sixth Brother’s Moments, and quickly saved the photo.

Qin Niexun, not far from them, heard about the photo of Ann and, without hesitation, opened Sixth Brother’s Moments to save the photo.

After saving it, he instinctively glanced at the profile pictures of mutual friends who had liked the post.

Suddenly, his eyes narrowed as he clicked on one of the somewhat familiar profile pictures and realized he hadn’t saved this person’s contact.

He looked at Sixth Brother and asked, "Who is this ’X’ person? I also have him as a friend."
