Shao Xinxin turned around and looked, only to see a similar azure figure hurriedly running back to the main hall.
Qin Sui’an couldn’t swim; as a child, she couldn’t save anyone. Her first thought was to go find her family for help.
Shi Yiyin, who had been pushed into the pool without warning, surfaced and coughed twice, "Who pushed me into the pool? I didn’t want to swim!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
She wiped the water off her face, and when she looked up at the pool’s edge, she instantly flared up, "Shao Xinxin! Why is it you again? Last time at little Ann’s house, you also deliberately pulled me into the pool. What are you doing?!"
Shao Xinxin, seeing the person in the pool, was momentarily stunned, "Shi Yiyin? How is it you?!"
"Who else could it be? Are you sick, Shao Xinxin? You’ve already made me fall into the water twice!"
Shi Yiyin rarely swore; her mom always told her not to curse because it was impolite and lacked upbringing.

Shi Yiyin was relieved that she still had the magical goose feather little Ann had given her in her pocket, or else she wouldn’t have been able to drag herself out of the pool.
She looked down at her skirt; it was similar to the last time she fell into the pool. She was just slightly wet, not completely soaked.
But she was still very angry.
Shi Yiyin put her hands on her hips and glared at Shao Xinxin standing at the edge of the pool, "Shao Xinxin! Why did you push me?!"
Shao Xinxin finally reacted and immediately retorted loudly, "Who told you to wear a dress similar to Qin Sui’an’s?!"
"What do you mean by that? Why can’t I wear a similar dress to Ann?" Shi Yiyin furrowed her brow.
Suddenly, she seemed to understand the implication in Shao Xinxin’s words and widened her eyes, "Oh! Shao Xinxin, you were actually trying to push little Ann into the pool, right? You thought I was little Ann, so you came over to push me!"
Shao Xinxin’s true intentions had been exposed, but she showed no signs of panic, "So what if I did?"
"Why do you want to push little Ann?" Shi Yiyin heard this and felt her anger flare up even more, "Little Ann can’t swim! If she falls into the pool, it would be very dangerous for her!"
Shao Xinxin originally thought that since Qin Sui’an was chasing the football, everything would go smoothly.
As long as she pushed Qin Sui’an into the pool, she could say it was an accident while chasing the ball, and no matter what happened, it wouldn’t be her problem.
But then Shi Yiyin showed up.

Just as Shao Xinxin was about to mock her, she heard some noise coming from the entrance of the backyard, and her heart raced. She turned and ran back to the main hall.
"Shao Xinxin! You still haven’t explained yourself! You pushed me and haven’t even apologized yet!"
Shi Yiyin was so angry she stamped her foot. She had never encountered such a rude person, especially one she knew.
On the other side, after seeing Shi Yiyin being pushed into the pool, Qin Sui’an immediately ran back to the banquet hall.
Qin Haochen, looking through the floor-to-ceiling window, noticed little one suddenly turning around and rushing back, her expression quite panicked, so he quickly headed toward her.
"Daddy!"
Qin Sui’an couldn’t stop in time and ran straight into her father’s arms.
She didn’t have time to rub her forehead, which had bumped against him, and raised her little face, anxious, "Daddy, Sister Yiyin fell into the pool! Ann can’t swim!"
Upon hearing this, Qin Haochen furrowed his brows, bent down to pick up little one, and strode toward the direction she had come from.
Shi Qinghan was standing not far away, and in the noisy banquet, he couldn’t hear little Ann clearly, but he could discern some content from her lip movements.
Connecting little Ann’s worried expression, he turned to his aunt Meng Shujie, who was chatting nearby, and said, "Aunt, it seems Yiyin has fallen into the pool."
Meng Shujie realized what was happening. Even though she knew her daughter could swim, she couldn’t help but panic and hurried toward the pool.
Qin Haochen was the first to reach the pool with little one, and seeing Shi Yiyin had climbed out, he asked, "Yiyin, are you feeling unwell?"
"Uncle Qin, I’m fine. I can swim," Shi Yiyin shook her head and pulled out the magical goose feather from her skirt pocket, "And I have little Ann’s magical feather, so I’m perfectly okay."
Qin Haochen glanced at the feather and knew it was special; he didn’t suspect anything further. He carefully checked her to make sure she hadn’t choked on water before asking again, "Did you fall in accidentally? You’re still young and shouldn’t play near the pool."
Before Shi Yiyin could respond, Qin Sui’an interjected, "Daddy, Ann and Sister Yiyin weren’t playing here."
"Right! Uncle Qin, we weren’t playing here," Shi Yiyin was still angry about it and said furiously, "I was just trying to get the football, and then Shao Xinxin suddenly pushed me and made me fall into the pool!"
Qin Haochen’s brows suddenly tightened.
Meng Shujie had just rushed out of the main hall when she heard her daughter’s words.
She hurried over, crouched down, and looked anxiously at her daughter, "Yiyin, are you okay?"
"Mom!" Shi Yiyin hugged her tightly and said, "Don’t worry, I’m fine. I swam up right away."
"That’s good," Meng Shujie took out a handkerchief and gently wiped the water droplets off her face while asking, "Was it Shao Xinxin who pushed you in?"
"Yes! Mom, Shao Xinxin is really bad!" Shi Yiyin was very upset, stomping her foot as she said, "Mom, Shao Xinxin said that because I wore a dress similar to little Ann’s, she thought I was little Ann, so she pushed me into the pool. But little Ann can’t swim!"
As soon as Shi Yiyin finished speaking, the air around them seemed to freeze, and a chill rushed in.
Qin Haochen’s eyes darkened, and his voice was low and severe, "She originally wanted to push Ann?"
Shi Yiyin nodded vigorously, "Yes! Uncle Qin, Shao Xinxin said that just now! She’s too bad!"
Qin Lvzheng, Qin Niexun, and Ye Rongyuan noticed the commotion in the backyard, and soon the elders from the Qin and Ye families arrived as well.
Upon hearing the conversation, Qin Niexun turned and walked back into the main hall. In just ten seconds, he returned to the backyard, holding Shao Xinxin with one hand.
Seeing Qin Niexun approaching with a dark expression, Shao Xinxin guessed that Shi Yiyin must have said something she shouldn’t have.
She wasn’t worried at all; with just Shi Yiyin’s words, it couldn’t be considered "evidence." As long as she refused to admit it, everything would be fine.
At this moment, Shao Xinxin feigned a pitiful expression, crying out, "Mommy, save me! Daddy, save me! Waaaaah..."
