Chapter 63: The Wild Heiress of the Qin Family is Either Foolish or Silly

Qin Qianyi first reached out and gently rubbed Ann’s little head before looking at the mother and daughter in front of him.

"Mrs. Shao, little Sister Xinxin, please have a seat."

Shen Shuwen led Shao Xinxin to sit on the sofa next to them, her gaze fixed on Qin Sui’an’s body. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Her red lips curled into a meaningful smile as she spoke, "Ann must have suffered a lot, right? I heard that she was sold to an orphanage by wicked people. Fortunately, she is still young, and a girl’s reputation is of utmost importance."

Recalling the news she had seen before about girls being abducted and defiled, Shen Shuwen’s gaze towards Qin Sui’an became somewhat subtle.

She leaned back slightly, as if trying to create distance between herself and Qin Sui’an, even though they were not close in proximity.

Qin Qianyi’s eyebrows furrowed instantly.

Is Mrs. Shao all right? Why does she always carry a strong sense of hostility in her words? And she specifically targets Ann from their family.

Is she up to no good? Well, it’s just as well, he is not a kind-hearted person either.

"Mrs. Shao, your words make it seem as if you have personal experience.

One would think you are quite knowledgeable!" Qin Qianyi’s disdainful gaze swept over Shen Shuwen.

Upon hearing his words, Shen Shuwen was momentarily stunned.

She had sincerely spoken for the sake of the Qin family’s little heiress!

This young master of the Qin family truly lacks manners! He dares to question her innocence without any basis!

Annoyance welled up within Shen Shuwen, but she managed to maintain a smile on her face.

"Qianyi, you..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Qin Qianyi interrupted her.

"Wait, am I mistaken? Mrs. Shao, were you an orphan before?" Qin Qianyi wore a puzzled expression, as if deeply confused.

Qin Sui’an blinked her round, big eyes, alternating her gaze between the aunt and Sixth Brother.

When she heard her Sixth Brother ask if the aunt was an orphan, she couldn’t hide her sympathy and looked at the aunt with compassionate eyes.

Ah, so the aunt was an orphan, how pitiful.

Just then, a bodyguard entered the living room carrying a tray of tea.

He placed Miss An’an and Master Qianyi’s juice in front of them and then placed the juice for the two guests in front of them.

Qin Sui’an glanced at the aunt and then climbed down from her Sixth Brother’s embrace.

She picked up one of the juice cups and handed it to the aunt, soothingly saying in a childish voice, "Auntie, don’t be sad, drink juice!"

Hearing the pity in her tone, Shen Shuwen almost lost control of her smile.

Damn it, does this brat really think of her as an orphan?

"Ann..."

Shen Shuwen forced a couple of dry laughs, accepting the juice handed to her by Qin Sui’an, while suppressing her anger.

"Ann is truly kind-hearted.

She believes whatever Qianyi says.

If she goes out into society, won’t she be easily deceived?"

Qin Sui’an furrowed her little brows, puzzled, and tilted her head slightly.

The aunt’s words sounded strange, like she was praising her, but also not.

Shen Shuwen glanced at Qin Qianyi and couldn’t help but smile.

She put on an elder’s demeanor and said, "Have you ever heard of the phrase ’unpleasant truth’? My words are not wrong. It’s normal for a child like you to dislike hearing them."

Did she say something wrong? She even chose her words carefully!

Qian Qianyi casually mentioned it, and the wild heiress of the Qin family believed it.

She really thinks she’s an orphan! Absurd! If she easily believes others’ words like this, she’s either foolish or silly!
