Chapter 91: The True Identity of Grandfather

Lan Jin furrowed her brows slightly and looked at him, saying, "If your throat is uncomfortable, then go back to the villa and rest."

She knew very well that he was opposing her suggestion.

"Little Jin, F Country is so far away," Qin Huo cautiously coaxed, "We just returned yesterday."

"It’s not far. You take a plane, close your eyes, sleep, and you’ll be there," Lan Jin had traveled to various countries before.

Qin Huo had no way to persuade her.

He sighed and didn’t know what else to say.

Qin Sui’an glanced at his grandmother, then at his grandfather, unable to hide the smile in his round, gleaming eyes.

Lan Jin noticed and playfully tapped her granddaughter’s little nose with her fingertip, saying, "Does Ann want to go to F Country? You haven’t answered Grandma yet."

"I want to go with everyone," Qin Sui’an curiously replied.

However, she had just returned home and wanted to stay with her family, so she added sleepily, "With Dad, with my brothers, and with Grandpa and Grandma."

"So many people going together?"

Lan Jin laughed, "Going together is not difficult, but the challenge is getting everyone together."

Her youngest son, Qin Haochen, was busy with the corporation’s affairs, and each of her grandsons had their own things to attend to.

Throughout the year, the number of times the whole family could gather together could be counted on one hand.

Upon hearing her grandmother’s words, Qin Sui’an nodded her little head, understandingly.

Until now, she had only seen her Eldest Brother, Second Brother, Third Brother, and fifth brother, and hadn’t met her Fourth Brother yet.

She had only just met her Third Brother today.

In these past few days, she hadn’t seen much of her Second Brother, and her fifth brother had only briefly appeared yesterday.

Qin Sui’an sighed softly, "Adults are so busy."

"Yes, adults are always busy," Lan Jin gently embraced her small body, looking at her with affectionate eyes, and said, "But Ann should know that even though everyone can’t always be with you, they all love you very much."

"I know," Qin Sui’an patted her little belly, pursing her lips, and shyly said, "Ann loves everyone too."

"Such a good girl, Ann is the best," Lan Jin smiled, but there was a hint of heartache in her eyes.

The more well-behaved and sensible her granddaughter was, the more she felt heartache.

She couldn’t even imagine what kind of life her granddaughter had lived in the orphanage.

Qin Sui’an twisted her little fingers and mumbled, "Dad is in charge of the Qin Corporation, Second Brother is a doctor..."

She realized that she wasn’t clear about what her family members were busy with.

Lan Jin seemed to understand and continued, "Your father is busy with the Qin Corporation’s affairs, your Eldest Brother is devoted to Buddhism, your Second Brother is a doctor, usually busy at the hospital, and your Third Brother..."

She paused and turned to look at Qin Lvzheng.

Qin Sui’an also turned her little head and blinked her round eyes, looking at her Third Brother.

Qin Lvzheng straightened his back as if suddenly being called out, "I am a lawyer, working at a law firm."

Lan Jin continued, "Your Fourth Brother is a criminal investigator, working at the Criminal Investigation Brigade. As for your fifth brother, he’s unpredictable, always running around. Grandma doesn’t even know where he went recently."

"Grandma, Ann knows where Fifth Brother went!"

Qin Sui’an raised her little hand, her eyes shining brightly, and in her childish voice, she said, "Fifth Brother said he wants to establish a children’s foundation so that the little kids can eat well and dress warmly in the future."

"Oh, our Yaoyu has grown up!" Lan Jin exclaimed in surprise, her eyes widening.

"Yaoyu is now doing charitable deeds with his money."

Qin Sui’an didn’t hesitate to praise, "Fifth Brother is a very good person."

Lan Jin couldn’t help but reach out and touch her little face, "Haha, if Yaoyu hears Ann’s words, he will be very happy."

"When Fifth Brother comes home, Ann will tell him!" Qin Sui’an smiled, happily saying.

"Ann is amazing!" Lan Jin laughed and continued, "Ah, we’re still missing Qianyi.

Your Sixth Brother is still young and needs to go to school."

The Qin family had superior genes, and each of them had high intelligence.

They excelled in their studies, graduating several years ahead of their peers.

Take Qin Qianyi, for example. He was only fourteen years old but had already taken the college entrance examination last year, achieving outstanding results.

However, he didn’t want to graduate too early.

Taking the exam was just to confirm whether his intelligence was keeping up with the rest of the Qin family.

After all, his brothers were exceptional, and as the youngest male in the family, he felt a bit of pressure.

Qin Sui’an tilted her face upward and asked softly, "Grandma, does Ann also have to go to school?"

"Yes, Ann also has to go to school," Lan Jin bent down, her voice gentle, "Does Ann want to go to school?"

"I want to," Qin Sui’an nodded vigorously, "big white goose said that Ann knows very little and can learn more by going to school."

"The big white goose?" Lan Jin was taken aback, turning her head to look at the majestic big white goose sitting beside them.

She felt a bit bewildered, knowing that this big white goose possessed intelligence, but it was the first time she heard it speak to her granddaughter.

Qin Lvzheng was also astonished, looking at the big white goose and then at his sister, Ann.

Could it be that when they arrived in the garden earlier, he wasn’t mistaken in thinking that the big white goose was conversing with Ann?

Qin Sui’an nodded her little head, "Grandmother, the big white goose is very clever. It knows many things and even teaches Ann that one plus one equals two!"

The big white goose, who had been resting with its eyes closed, heard Ann praising it and proudly raised its small head, pretending to be modest, "Ga! I’m just slightly smarter than other geese!"

Qin Sui’an earnestly said, "Not just slightly! The big white goose is much smarter!"

Witnessing Ann and the big white goose engaging in what seemed like a genuine conversation, the three of them...

Lan Jin, Qin Huo, and Qin Lvzheng wore expressions of incredulity.

"This, this..."

Qin Huo couldn’t utter a complete sentence as he alternated his gaze between his granddaughter and the big white goose.

They knew the big white goose was intelligent and protective, but they had no idea that their granddaughter could converse with it

Lan Jin snapped out of her shock and asked, "Ann, do you understand what the big white goose is saying?"

"I understand!"

Qin Sui’an nodded her little head, knowing that her daddy, Eldest Brother, and even her Sixth Brother were aware of this, so she had no intention of hiding it.

"Wow!" Lan Jin happily embraced her, praising, "Ann, you’re amazing! You can even understand what the big white goose says!"

Qin Huo, who was knowledgeable about many things, was also witnessing for the first time someone who could comprehend the honking of a goose, especially when that person was his beloved granddaughter.

"Ann is truly remarkable!"

Qin Huo smiled and said, "Indeed, it’s no longer acceptable to underestimate the younger generation. Each generation surpasses the previous one!"

He thought about his eldest grandson, Qin Fujia, suddenly returning home from the mountains and the fact that the big white goose had been with Fujia in his room all morning.

Perhaps, it was because of this.

They didn’t consider their granddaughter to be an anomaly; instead, they felt proud and filled with pride for her.

Qin Lvzheng heard the big white goose honking again and became curious, "Ann, what is it saying now?"

"The big white goose says that Grandfather and Grandmother are good people!"

Qin Sui’an enjoyed hearing others praise her and especially loved hearing compliments about her family.

She happily smiled and said, "The big white goose is also a good person! Oh, no, a good goose!"

Upon hearing her adorable words, Lan Jin, Qin Huo, and Qin Lvzheng all burst into laughter, charmed by her cuteness.

The big white goose lifted its head, its tiny eyes the size of beans looking upward.

It saw the spirit of the old man floating above them, smiling silently.

The old man didn’t say a word, but his eyes were filled with a smiling expression as if an elder observing the younger ones chatting.

His entire soul radiated a loving light.

Amidst the flower bushes, a harmonious atmosphere prevailed, filled with continuous laughter.

However, outside the gate of the Bay Villa, the scene was completely different.
