"Mr. Yanchikov, Anderson is under arrest."
In the general manager's office, a short and thin man was leaning on the sofa, with his legs crossed and a cigar between his fingers.
This kind of stuff is top quality.
This unassuming-looking man is none other than the supreme ruler of District F70, Yanchikov.
Yanchikov is less than fifty years old, a little bald, not ugly, but definitely not handsome either. He is the type who would go unnoticed in a crowd of people.
"When we caught Anderson, he seemed to be just about to go out."
Standing in front of Yanchikov was a woman about thirty years old.
Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin and hot body.
"There was another woman at his house. According to that woman, they were lovers. At the time of the incident, they were... well, having fun."
The woman said in a serious tone, "And in the process, Anderson received a call from Luo Xi, so he suddenly ended it and prepared to get dressed and leave."
"As for other things, this woman doesn't know much."
Yanchikov half-closed his eyes. Upon hearing this, he asked softly, "Well, he's worthless now. Let's kill him."
"Already killed."
The woman raised her chin slightly, confident in her ability to handle the situation. "But regarding Anderson, I think I still need to ask your opinion..."
"Where is he now?"
"They've been taken to the Black Room."
The woman said seriously, "I've had his arms and legs broken to prevent him from causing trouble."
"Um."
Yanchikov's expression remained calm. "Did Bilie bring back any new news?"
"Metev and his driver were both killed with one blow."
The woman replied, "The other party's technique was very skilled. Neither of them showed any signs of struggling."
"Where is the [Internal Matter]?"
Yanchikov opened his eyes and said, "Judging from the [Boundary Matter], how many souls are left."
"Metev's [Plasma] is gone."
The woman frowned slightly. “There was only one pen belonging to Anderson at the scene.”
Yanchikov was silent.
His fingers drummed lightly on the armrest of the sofa.
"Mr. Yanchikov, Metev's death should have nothing to do with Anderson."
The woman suddenly said.
Yanchikov nodded: "I know."
"That pen..."
"Left it for me."
Yanchikov interrupted the woman before she finished her question, "We need a reasonable excuse. This pen, while clearly a frame-up, is just the right one."
The woman's face grew serious. "You mean to say, someone is helping us?"
“Here, no one helps others for no reason.”
Yanchikov's expression was indifferent: "Rather than helping me, it's more like the people who killed Metev were sending me a signal."
As he spoke, he slowly raised his eyelids. "He's telling me that he's figured out the F70 area! Or, you could say, he knows my difficulties!"
The woman pursed her lips and said nothing.
She was very curious about who the other person was.
It wouldn't be surprising to see someone in the F70 District Guard who could understand the situation.
But even if he saw it clearly, he would have rashly attacked Metev without even saying hello to Yanchikov or asking his opinion...
How much courage does this take?
"Could it be Cowell?"
The Cowell the woman was referring to was the captain of the ninth squad.
Although he is not a die-hard fan of Yanchikov, he has definitely not gotten together with Luo Xi.
There are such neutral captains in the thirteen teams.
They could not guarantee their loyalty to Yanchikov, but they did not dare to stand on Luo Xi's side.
Wherever you are, there are people who believe in self-preservation.
They don't want to gamble on a one-time deal, they just want to wait until the situation becomes clearer...
Make another choice!
Before Luo Xi came, the captains of the thirteen teams naturally followed Yangchikov's lead.
But when District G was fully prepared and arranged for Luo Xi to come to District F70 with a lot of benefits...
These captains then saw their own value.
Both Yanchikov and Luo Xi hope that they can stand on their side.
The captains' spring has arrived.
They were offered an opportunity to sell.
"Recently, Metev and Cowell have been fighting fiercely. Cowell is likely to take this opportunity to assert his position and eliminate his opponent..."
The woman frowned analytically.
But when he heard this, Yanchikov laughed.
"Sophia, go back to your room and wait for me."
The woman was stunned for a moment.
Yanchikov's smile was a little more playful. "Everyone has their own strengths. What you're good at is in bed, not helping me analyze the situation."
Sophia's face flushed slightly.
It's not shyness, but embarrassment.
"The person who killed Metev was not part of the regional guard."
Yanchikov narrowed his eyes and whispered, "He took the [Boundary Element]."
Sophia was stunned.
Yanchikov stood up and walked to the window, looking at the chaotic streets outside. "The people who are interested in [Intermediate Matter] are from District F."
"Y-You mean... the hunting team?!"
Sophia couldn't imagine that there would be a hunting team that would dare to kill the captain of the regional guard!
"I know who it is."
Yanchikov murmured, "But I have no evidence."
