Chapter 3 I'll Go to Your House at Night

Ning Fan covered his stomach and frowned slightly.

Huizi’s words were quite shocking to him.

Ning Fan had never considered Huizi an enemy, let alone wanted to kill him.

Lin Chuan said that as long as Huizi bleeds a little, it will be fine.

So in Ning Fan's mind, this was just an assessment.

Try to cause the least harm to Huizi, as long as you can pass the test, that's enough.

But Huizi was teaching him something completely new.

"Then you can kill me too, why not?"

Ning Fan felt a surge of pain in his abdomen, but still asked stubbornly.

Huizi’s kick was very heavy.

But not fatal.

"Huh? You actually know how to draw inferences from one instance? Okay, top student, then use these five days to figure out why I didn't kill you. I can give you a hint, and that is..."

Huizi stood up, lowered his head, the smile in his eyes gradually disappeared, replaced by a cold look: "I don't kill you, it's definitely not out of mercy."

This look made Ning Fan feel cold.

He believed that Huizi really had the intention to kill.

Why?

Why would he so easily want to kill a stranger?

Ning Fan stared at Huizi for a long time before he climbed up despite his painful body. He picked up the black sword that he had just dropped after being kicked away and put it on his back. He turned around and walked towards an alley.

"You're giving up already? Kids these days don't even have the slightest bit of manliness!"

Huizi said contemptuously.

But Lin Chuan narrowed his eyes and watched Ning Fan's back as he left: "He will come back."

Huizi was startled, then curled his lips and said, "What's the matter? Brother Chuan, even if he comes back, do you really want to take him in?"

"How did you tell that?"

"Nonsense, if you don't want to take him in, why did you let him chop me? Are you bored?"

"Little bastard, how dare you talk to me like that? Are you so nervous?"

"No, why are you bullying me? I'm an honest man all day long!"

The two of them exchanged a few words before Lin Chuan suddenly smiled: "Do you think that kid can succeed?"

"Brother, I think you are scolding me!"

Huizi curled his lips and said, "I've been playing with eagles all my life, and I still get my eyes pecked by a little chicken?"

"I think so."

Lin Chuan said thoughtfully: "What to bet on?"

Huizi also looked a little serious.

He didn't think Lin Chuan was joking.

Does Brother Chuan really think that that kid who only knows how to take exams can hurt me?

"Just bet it on my reward for the next mission."

"OK."

Lin Chuan patted his shoulder and said, "Then I'll bet five thousand Sola and leave you some money for food."

Seeing Lin Chuan was about to leave, Huizi quickly pulled him back.

"No, Brother Chuan, why are you so sure that I will lose?"

"Because their academic performance is better than yours."

"Hold!"

Huizi was quite dissatisfied with Lin Chuan's answer.

But at the same time, it was because of Lin Chuan's words that Huizi took it seriously.

He has raised the alert level to outside the zone!

However, for the entire day, Ning Fan seemed to have truly given up and never showed up again.

But the next day, Huizi had just set up the rotten wooden boards of the "Wild Dog House" when he saw Ning Fan.

Ning Fan was sitting at the foot of the wall a hundred meters away from him.

What made Huizi feel awkward was that the boy stared at him with his eyes fixed but didn't move at all.

At noon, Huizi watched Ning Fan take out a piece of greasy food from his pocket and eat it while staring at him.

This is the cheapest food in the lower city, Yin dog meat.

The taste is simply indescribable, sour and smelly, the meat is tough, no matter how hard you chew it, your throat feels like it's being scraped by a knife when you swallow it.

Moreover, the miasma content is extremely high.

If there is any advantage to this kind of food, it is that it is cheap and filling.

The small piece in Ning Fan's hand only cost five solas, but it could last for three days.

After eating a few bites with an expressionless face, Ning Fan put the remaining Yin dog meat back into his pocket.

Throughout the whole process, his eyes never left Huizi.

Huizi felt scared.

You may not care about it at first, but think about it, if someone stares at you from sunrise to sunset, how would you feel?

What made Huizi even more upset was that at night, after he had closed his stall, Ning Fan still remained in this state.

"Hello."

Huizi couldn't help but walk away, and took the initiative to walk up to him: "What do you mean? What's the point of staring at me like this?"

Ning Fan raised his head: "I'm trying to find a way to hurt you."

"Have you thought of it?"

"I figured it out."

"Yo? Are you going to take action?"

"No."

"What do you mean?"

"It's nothing. Lin Chuan said I have five days. Today is only the second day. I'm not in a hurry, so why are you in a hurry?"

Ning Fan stood up calmly: "Are you leaving?"

"What? Are you still going home with me?"

"No, I want to tell you, don't sleep."

Ning Fan suddenly smiled, looking quite polite: "I know where your home is."

"Hold!"

Huizi felt like his fist was hitting cotton!

What on earth is this kid trying to do?

Facts have proved that Ning Fan put pressure on Huizi.

Huizi really didn't sleep that night.

He was really afraid that he would fail miserably and lose face!

Fortunately, I'm used to not sleeping for a day or two after being outdoors in the wild for a long time.

On the morning of the third day, Ning Fan was already waiting for him at the foot of the wall.
