When they arrived at Wang Tao's house, the first thing his mother did was to rummage through all the drawers and cabinets to find the crutch. Then she hurriedly put the sheets and quilt cover on the bed in Wang Tao's sister's room, and then hurriedly cut some fruit and brought some candy to Ding Ling. Then she happily took his father out to the vegetable market to buy vegetables.

There is nothing he is not worthy of. He even thinks that a rough old man like him is not worthy of a beautiful girl like her!
"Ding Ling, how could you think that? Why are you unworthy of me? You are hardworking, filial, sensible, strong, and beautiful. You are more than enough for anyone!"
Wang Tao's words stopped Ding Ling from crying.
She raised her head and looked at Wang Tao, tears still welling up in her eyes:
"Brother Wang Tao, are you telling the truth? Are you lying to me?"
Wang Tao nodded vigorously and answered without hesitation:
"Of course it's true, why would I lie to you!"
Ding Ling looked at Wang Tao thoughtfully until she saw the seriousness in his eyes, then she burst into laughter.
When Wang Tao saw her smile, he felt relieved.
What his mother said was right. He had indeed never had a girlfriend before. Before sending Shao Jingque to Henan Province, he had never been alone with a girl. He would blush if he spoke more than one word to a girl.
However, he did not feel itchy all over when he was with Ding Ling. Instead, he felt relaxed and comfortable talking to her. Even though he had scared her to tears just now, he could coax her back with just two or three words. This made Wang Tao feel less stressed.
Ding Ling wiped the tears from her face, then thought of something else and said with some trepidation:
"Brother Wang Tao, I'm not really staying at your house tonight, am I? Otherwise, I'd better stay at the guesthouse..."
Wang Tao looked at the room his mother had tidied up. The sheets and quilt covers were all new. Thinking of his mother's happy face before she left, he smiled bitterly.
"You don't know, my mom is a stubborn person. She won't give up until she achieves her goal. She said she wants you to stay at home, and I guess you won't be able to leave later."
Ding Ling blushed and became a little nervous:
"Ah? What should I do? How about I leave now while they're away?"
Wang Tao's first reaction was to shake his head repeatedly:
"Please spare me. If my mom comes back from buying groceries and finds you missing, she'll definitely skin me alive!"

If Wang Tao knew what she was thinking, he probably wouldn't agree. If he really wanted to find someone who caused trouble, that person must be his father!
He thought about it and said with difficulty:
"Ding Ling... My father was inconsiderate about this matter. He was so busy trying to trick my mother out of the hospital that he didn't consider how difficult it would be for you. I'm really sorry."
"They don't know yet. I've decided to send my sister-in-law back to Ning City tomorrow. I'll only stay at home for one last night. If...if you agree...how about staying at home for one night and leaving early tomorrow morning? No one will know..."
The more Wang Tao spoke, the lower his voice became. He could only blame himself for not being able to speak well. He made a good thing sound like an affair.
Ding Ling's face became redder and redder as she listened, and she felt like she would burst into smoke in the next second. She lowered her head lower and lower, like a shy quail hiding her head in her wings.
