After Ruliu took Xiaoying away, Xiao Yunchen ordered the coachman to set off.
The carriage slowly drove away from the gate of the prison.
Li Sisi leaned her back against the car wall, looking at the gentle-looking man leisurely.
"Madam, are you coming to the Heavenly Prison to see Prisoner Xu today?" Xiao Yunchen spoke first, breaking the silent atmosphere in the carriage.
Li Sisi said "hmm" and asked, "Is it not possible?"
"It's very dangerous. The princess has escaped from prison, and countless eyes in the capital are staring at Principal Xu." Xiao Yunchen's voice was gentle to begin with, and now he deliberately made it softer, making it seem especially gentle.

"It's impossible." Xiao Yunchen spoke bluntly, hoping to dispel Li Sisi's ridiculous idea.

"You don't even understand how to live, yet you're still thinking about what happens after you die. That's ridiculous, isn't it?" Li Sisi crossed her arms and spoke in a sarcastic tone.
She looked at Xiao Yunchen, her eyes asking, "What about you? Who do you want to support?"
"I'm just a subject, and I just need to do my duty. It doesn't matter who becomes the emperor, I just want to do my best to protect the peace of the people." Xiao Yunchen said frankly.
But Li Sisi didn't believe it at all.

He whispered, his tone filled with disappointment, "You haven't changed. How could a powerful official not have ambition? You say you don't care who the emperor is, but what you do care about is that the more incompetent the emperor is, the happier you should be, right? After all, it's easier to control."
"In your heart, is this the kind of person I am?" Xiao Yunchen's gentle voice sounded a little lonely.
Li Sisi raised her head and looked at the disappointed expression on his face, and suddenly felt that he was so hypocritical.
