The driver was indeed not lying, and the carriage entered the next city facing the sunset.
The afterglow of the setting sun spread across the street, and the vendors on both sides had already begun to pack up and go home.
The two best friends deliberately found a relatively simple inn, which was run by a couple. There were only one or two waiters in the shop, and the number of customers was not large on a normal day.

Li Sisi frowned and wanted to ask something, when she saw a man of medium height grabbing a woman's hair and dragging her out of the house.
The woman tilted her head to accommodate the man's dragging, as if this could alleviate the stinging pain of her scalp.
She cried out in pain, "I really... I'm out of money. Business has been bad in the shop lately, with very few customers. I really don't have any extra money."
The man staggered, his face was abnormally flushed, his misty eyes were full of ferocity, and his tongue was tied when he spoke.
"Stop talking to me about this useless stuff!"
The man released the hand that was pulling the woman's hair and raised his hand to slap her: "Stop making so many excuses! You must give me the money today, or I will sell you out!"

"Prepare a table of delicious food tonight. My brother is coming to have a drink. If you dare to neglect my brother with leftovers, I will sell you out tonight!" After saying that, he walked out cursing.
As if sensing that they were looking at him, the man suddenly turned around and said angrily, "What are you looking at, bitch!"
Li Sisi was already furious, and now she was provoked by this man and was about to explode.
Li Nian hurriedly pulled her back and whispered, "Don't be impulsive. We still have to keep going. Let's not cause any more trouble along the way."
