Chapter 101 Market barrier, breaking through and counterattacking

Shen Qiqi's brows were slightly furrowed, like two small hills, casting a faint shadow on her smooth forehead.

She looked around and saw that the Lu family's yard was filled with red fruits and the air was filled with a sweet fragrance. This should have been a pleasant scene, but at the moment it made her feel a little anxious.

She put her hands on her hips, her eyes sharp, scanning her "trophies" like a general about to go to the battlefield.

"How much of this stuff can I eat by myself?" she muttered to herself, with a barely perceptible hint of nervousness in her tone.

Lu Qing was beside her, and seeing her frown, he knew that she had begun to think about deeper issues.

"Yes, Qiqi, there are so many things to consider. You really need to think about them carefully." Lu Qing's tone was full of trust and support for her.

The joyful atmosphere at home was gradually diluted by this invisible pressure, and an inexplicable sense of tension spread in the Lu family.

The next day, Shen Qiqi got up early. Like a warrior with chicken blood, she picked out the most beautiful and largest fruits in her garden and neatly stacked them in a bamboo basket.

Lu Qing was busy running around, helping to carry the basket and wipe sweat, and the two of them had a perfect understanding.

"Let's go to the town and broaden our horizons today!" Shen Qiqi waved her hand and led Lu Qing towards the market with great enthusiasm.

The market was crowded with people, and the sounds of shouting and hawking were heard one after another, making it very lively.

Shen Qiqi found an open space, arranged the bamboo baskets neatly, and even decorated them with a few green leaves to make her stall look more fresh and attractive.

She folded her arms across her chest, waiting confidently for customers to come.

However, reality slapped her hard in the face.

The people coming and going seemed not to notice her and simply bypassed her stall and ran elsewhere.

There were crowds of people in front of those fruit stalls, but her stall was deserted and no one was interested.

Shen Qiqi's smile gradually disappeared, replaced by a look of confusion.

She looked at the fruits she had carefully selected and felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured on her, chilling her from head to toe.

An oppressive atmosphere enveloped her, and she felt as if her heart was being tightly grasped by an invisible hand, making it difficult for her to breathe.

Her eyes swept across the stalls that were doing a booming business, then fell back to her own stall where no one was interested, and a feeling of loss came over her.

"What's going on? Is it because my fruit doesn't look good enough?" She murmured to herself in a low voice, with a hint of unwillingness in her tone.

She picked up a bright red fruit and looked at it carefully in the sunlight. It was crystal clear and looked like a fine product no matter how she looked at it!

Lu Qing looked at Shen Qiqi's lost back, wanting to say something but stopping himself. In the end, he just sighed and patted her shoulder gently.

Shen Qiqi was not discouraged. She held her head high and chest puffed out, a glint of determination flashing in her eyes. She bent down and carefully observed the stalls that were doing brisk business...

Shen Qiqi's eyes were like a sophisticated scanner, scanning back and forth over the stalls that were doing brisk business.

She pricked up her ears, carefully catching what the stall owners were shouting, her eyes rolling around, analyzing rapidly like an efficient computer.

Soon, she discovered the trick: the stalls not only arranged the fruits in an orderly manner, but also decorated them with emerald green leaves and bright fabrics, and the packaging was particularly attractive.

More importantly, they all act like "orators", working hard to promote their own fruits, as if they would lose 100 million if they didn't buy them.

"I see!" Shen Qiqi's eyes lit up instantly, like two small light bulbs, emitting the light of hope.

She slapped her thigh, and her whole body seemed to be injected with new energy. The feeling of depression that had originally enveloped her was instantly swept away.

She was like an explorer who had discovered treasure, with the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a sly smile.

"It seems that these days, 'hard power' alone is not enough, one also has to be able to 'make things happen'!" She muttered to herself, with a hint of playfulness and confidence in her tone, completely devoid of the dejection from earlier.

She rolled up her sleeves, ready to do something big.

She was not like other stall owners who were in a hurry to cut prices and hold fire sales. After all, her fruits were pure natural and pollution-free fine products. How could she be in the same boat with those "slutty girls"?

If she wants to do something, she has to do something different!

Shen Qiqi picked out a few fruits of medium size from the bamboo basket, took out the small knife she carried with her, and quickly cut them into small pieces, placing them on clean bamboo leaves.

Then she took a deep breath, opened her voice, and began her "talk show" performance.

"Dear fellow villagers, don't miss it if you pass by! Look at the fruits in my family, they are grown in a purely natural and green way, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. One bite of them is so sweet that you will question your life!" She introduced them with a beaming look on her face, her tone full of confidence and pride.

She vividly described the process of growing the fruit trees, as if telling a legendary story. "Our fruit trees drink mountain spring water and listen to the singing of birds. They are truly 'noble fruits'!"

She would also throw out some popular internet memes from time to time, making people around her laugh, and the crowd grew like a snowball.

Everyone watched Shen Qiqi skillfully distribute the samples, smelled the fruity aroma in the air, and listened to her witty introduction. They all showed a curious look, with the word "stunned" written all over their faces, as if saying: "This little lady is quite something!" The originally noisy atmosphere of the market instantly turned into a large "curious baby" meeting with her.
