In the bustling crowd, Shen Qiqi and Xu Jing were like two nimble little loaches, shuttling between the stalls.
Their eyes sparkled, as if they saw countless red hundred-dollar bills waving at them.
“Sister Qiqi, look over there, that’s a good spot!” Xu Jing pointed to an open space near the intersection and excitedly tugged at Shen Qiqi’s sleeve.
Shen Qiqi fell in love with this Feng Shui treasure land at first sight. It has a large flow of people and a wide view. It is simply a treasure pot!
She rubbed her hands, and couldn't wait to display her "baby" and start the crazy money-making mode.
The two men had just put their things down and had no time to catch their breath when a burly man with a face full of flesh walked over with a swagger, like a domineering crab.
This person is none other than the temple fair bully - Sun Dipi.
"Oh, this piece of land is not bad!" Sun Dipi squinted his eyes and looked up and down at Shen Qiqi and Xu Jing, his tone full of frivolity and disdain.
There were a few minions following behind him, all of them had shifty eyes and looked like they were not good people.
Shen Qiqi's heart skipped a beat, and she thought to herself, this is not good, could this be the legendary "local snake"?
But she was not a soft persimmon that could be bullied. She straightened her back, raised her chin, and said, "Big brother, we were the first to come here. Are you..."
Before she could finish her words, Sun Dipi rudely interrupted her: "First come, first served? When I was hanging out at this temple fair, you were still wearing open-crotch pants! This place, I have my eyes on it!"
As he spoke, he waved his hand, signaling the minions behind him to throw Shen Qiqi and Xu Jing's things aside.
"Hey! How can you be so unreasonable!" Xu Jing stomped her feet anxiously. Seeing the things she had worked so hard on being thrown on the ground, she felt heartbroken as if a knife was cutting her heart.
Shen Qiqi took a deep breath and tried to suppress the anger in her heart. "Brother, harmony brings wealth, harmony brings wealth! Do you think this will work..."
Before Shen Qiqi could extend her olive branch, she saw a man in uniform walking over. He looked like the administrator of the temple fair.
She was delighted and felt that her savior had come.
"Manager Zhang, you're here! This person..."
"Shut up!" Administrator Zhang interrupted her impatiently, then greeted Sun Dipi with a smile on his face, "Brother Sun, you're here! What do you want?" Administrator Zhang's flattering face made Shen Qiqi want to vomit out the food she had eaten the previous night.
She pointed at Sun Dipi and said indignantly, "Manager Zhang, this man has taken over our stall. You have to do something about it!"
Administrator Zhang seemed not to hear her words. He just nodded and said to Sun Dipi, "Brother Sun, how do you think we should handle this?"
Sun Dipi curled his lips in triumph, like a fox that stole a chicken, and pointed at Shen Qiqi and said, "This little girl is ignorant, she must be taught a lesson!"
Administrator Zhang immediately understood what she meant. He turned around, his expression changed, and he shouted at Shen Qiqi: "You little girl, do you understand the rules? Can you just occupy the land of this temple fair? It's a blessing for you that Brother Sun likes your land! Get out of here!"
Shen Qiqi instantly felt a chill running from the soles of her feet straight up to her head. She had never expected that the water at this temple fair would be so deep!
She tried to defend herself: "But, we clearly..."
"Stop talking!" Administrator Zhang interrupted her rudely, pointing his finger at her nose and cursing, "If you dare to talk too much again, I'll kick you out!!"
At this moment, Shen Qiqi felt like a child abandoned in the wilderness, isolated and helpless. Wronged and angry, tears welled up in her eyes, but she tried hard not to let them fall.
At this moment, a familiar figure squeezed through the crowd and grabbed Shen Qiqi's hand.
Lu Qing's eyebrows were tightly knitted, his eyes seemed to be spitting fire, he held Shen Qiqi's hand tightly, as if to give her strength.

Administrator Zhang also regained his arrogant expression and said to Lu Qing: "Boy, I advise you to be sensible. This temple fair is not a place for you to act wildly!"
Lu Qing ignored them, just looked at Shen Qiqi tenderly, and asked softly: "Qiqi, what's going on?"
Before Shen Qiqi could speak, Lu Qing suddenly turned around and said to Sun Dipi and Zhang Guanyu in a cold tone: "You guys, very good!"
After saying that, he took Shen Qiqi's hand and walked towards the crowd. Before leaving, he said to Shen Qiqi, "Let's go find Lao Wang."
Lu Qing pulled Shen Qiqi and walked straight towards an old man with gray hair but in good spirits.
This old man is none other than Uncle Wang, a highly respected man in the temple fair. He has been setting up stalls for decades and has witnessed the ups and downs of the temple fair. He can be called a "living fossil" of the temple fair.
"Qiqi, don't be afraid. With Uncle Wang here, no one can bully you." Lu Qing comforted her, his tone so gentle that it could squeeze water out of her.
Shen Qiqi did not cry, but was unusually calm, which was completely different from her usual lively and cheerful self.
