The afterglow of the setting sun had not yet faded, and the vegetable garden was still warm, but Shen Qiqi's brows were slightly furrowed, as if she was thinking about some difficult mathematical problem.
Her bright eyes were now staring at the empty vegetable patch, as if she could see hope for the future from it.
"Brother Qing," she muttered to herself, a hint of resentment in her tone, "Our menu is now richer, but I always feel like something is missing, just like... it's like eating hot pot without the soul-stirring dipping sauce, it always feels lacking in flavor!"

As he spoke, Boss Wu took out several packets of seeds with fancy packaging and praised them highly.
Shen Qiqi took a quick glance and knew that these so-called "imported seeds" were purely a scam, expensive and useless.
"Boss Wu," Shen Qiqi's tone turned cold, her eyes sharp as a knife, "I can tell at a glance that these seeds of yours are a scam. Do you have what I want?"
The smile on Boss Wu's face completely disappeared, replaced by a look of displeasure.
He curled his lips and his tone became impatient: "No, that's it. It's up to you whether you want to buy it or not. Don't delay my business here!"
Shen Qiqi looked at Boss Wu's face, snorted coldly, and cursed in her heart: This black-hearted boss is really "ugly in the way he eats."
She didn't waste any more time talking to Boss Wu and turned around and walked out of the seed shop.
She walked out of the shop and looked up. Her eyes were like an arrow shot from a bow, pointing straight ahead, but she seemed to be looking for something.
Her figure disappeared at the end of the street.
Shen Qiqi hung her head, like an eggplant hit by frost, and squatted on the side of the road with a droopy look.
She clutched a few crumpled bills tightly in her hand. These were the bills she had saved for a long time just to buy those exotic seeds, but in the end...
It's all in vain!
This Boss Wu is such a profiteer!
The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Shen Qiqi couldn't help but kick the stones on the side of the road, "Damn it!"
"Ouch!" With a scream, the stone hit the ankle of a passing lady accurately.
Shen Qiqi quickly apologized, but the old lady was kind, waving her hands to indicate that she was fine, and asked her what was wrong with concern.

Shen Qiqi's eyes lit up instantly, like two shining little stars, and she excitedly grabbed the old lady's hand: "Really? Thank you!" The old lady smiled and nodded, waved her hand and left.
"Qiqi, what's wrong?" A familiar voice sounded above her head. Lu Qing stood behind her at some point, holding a hot roasted sweet potato in his hand.
"Brother Qing!" Shen Qiqi stood up suddenly, hugged Lu Qing's arm, and said excitedly, "I found a place! A place dedicated to exchanging seeds, there must be what I want!"
Lu Qing was at a loss for words when he saw how quickly his wife's expression changed, but as long as she was happy, it was fine.
He handed her the roasted sweet potato and gently touched her head: "It's good that you found it. Eat something to fill your stomach first."
Shen Qiqi took the sweet potato and took a big bite. The sweet taste filled her mouth, and her mood became even happier.
She took Lu Qing's hand and said impatiently, "Let's go! I can't wait any longer!"
Lu Qing smiled dotingly and let her pull him forward.
As the sun sets, the two hold hands and their figures gradually disappear at the end of the path.
"Shouldn't...you won't let us down, right?" Shen Qiqi looked back at the gradually darkening village and muttered to herself.
Following the old lady's instructions, Shen Qiqi crossed the path along the ridge of the field and came to a bustling market.
This place is not like the market in the town. There are no dazzling array of goods, only simple wooden tables filled with various seeds, and the air is filled with the fragrance of soil and plants.
