Chapter 443: Health Promotion: New Materials

Shen Qiqi looked around, her brows twisted into a small knot.

In the room, the fitness equipment that was bought from Boss Zhao at a "high price" was now like a group of sardines stuffed into a can, so crowded that there was no room to stretch, let alone even to turn around.

She looked at the heavy dumbbells, the hard barbells, and the space-consuming treadmill and wanted to throw them all away.

This is not fitness at all, it's clearly making yourself unhappy!

An invisible sense of worry spread around her, and the air seemed to freeze a little.

Lu Qing stood beside her, his brows slightly furrowed, his hands folded across his chest, looking as if he was lost in thought.

There was a serious glint in his eyes, as if he was struggling with some difficult problem, and an atmosphere of concentration quietly spread between the two of them.

"This thing takes up too much space!"

"That's right, it doesn't work at home!"

"It's better to just go work in the fields!"

The villagers were talking to each other, complaining one after another, like a flock of sparrows buzzing in a pot, making people's heads buzz.

This group of villagers who look honest and simple on weekdays are very combative once their own interests are involved.

A feeling of discontent spread among the crowd like a plague, making the atmosphere in the room even more chaotic.

Shen Qiqi was not scared away by the noisy sound. She slowly glanced around, her eyes as sharp as torches, as if she could see through people's hearts.

She listened silently, nodding and frowning from time to time, and had already started to think things over in her mind.

She was like an experienced commander, calmly analyzing the enemy situation on the chaotic battlefield.

She reached out and gently touched the cold barbell, then bent down and carefully checked every screw on the treadmill.

She stood up, took a deep breath, and her eyes became more determined.

The corners of her mouth rose slightly, revealing a confident smile.

"Everyone, please be quiet for a moment!" Her clear voice, like a spring, instantly drowned out all the noise.

"I know that many of you are dissatisfied with the use of these equipment, but don't worry, I will definitely find a way to solve this problem." Shen Qiqi's voice was not loud, but it was full of power, as if it had given everyone a reassurance.

She walked to the center of the room and glanced over the bulky equipment again.

"Next, I'm going to completely change the appearance of these things!" There was a hint of mystery in her tone, which made people curious about her plan.

Shen Qiqi plunged into the Lu family's tool room. In the dim light, she took turns using a saw, hammer, and wrench.

She tried to dismantle the bulky treadmill to make it lighter and more suitable for use in limited spaces.

However, this antique machine, like a stubborn old man, refused to cooperate.

The screws were rusted and the parts were stuck. Shen Qiqi was exhausted and sweating, but the results were minimal.

The tool room was filled with the smell of rust and sawdust, and the air was so heavy that it was hard to breathe.

The shadow of failure spread in her heart, and a feeling of powerlessness surged like a tide.

At this time, a bowl of cool mung bean soup and two hot steamed buns appeared in front of her.

"Take a break, Qiqi." Lu Qing's gentle voice sounded in her ears, like a stream of clear spring flowing into her dry heart.

Shen Qiqi looked up and saw Lu Qing's concerned eyes, and her heart warmed.

She took the food and drank the mung bean soup in big gulps. The sweet taste slid down her throat into her stomach, dispelling her fatigue.

"It still doesn't work. This thing is too bulky and there's no way to modify it." Shen Qiqi sighed, her tone full of helplessness.

Lu Qing sat down beside her and patted her shoulder gently, "Don't worry, take your time, there will always be a way." His warm big hand gave her great encouragement.

The next day, Shen Qiqi gathered the villagers but did not mention the purchase of new equipment.

"Let's transform these big guys into small equipment!" She pointed at the bulky equipment and said in a firm tone.

The villagers looked at each other, and an atmosphere of doubt spread among the crowd.

"Reform? How to reform?" someone asked.

"Qiqi, your idea..." Uncle Lu couldn't help but speak, with a hint of doubt in his tone.

Lu Qing stood up to support Shen Qiqi, "I believe in Qiqi, she can do it." The trust and support in his eyes made Shen Qiqi more determined in her idea.

"Everyone, watch!" Shen Qiqi picked up a steel pipe and walked towards the rusty treadmill...

Shen Qiqi rolled up her sleeves, picked up the tools and started working like a tiger.

I saw her first removing the unnecessary parts of the treadmill with a few "clicks", and then knocking off the iron lump that was in the way with a few "clang clang" hammers.

The originally bulky treadmill, in her hands, seemed to be cast by magic and instantly became slimmer.

She found some wooden boards and quickly transformed them into a simple yet sturdy stepper.

The speed was so fast that the onlookers were dazzled and shouted "666"!

Then, she transformed the space-consuming dumbbells and barbells into detachable modular types.

Small and exquisite, easy to carry, it is a must-have product for home travel and exercise!

The villagers stared at the brand new equipment with their eyes wide open, and said one after another, "This is simply turning decay into magic!" Shen Qiqi looked at the results of her "miraculous healing" and couldn't help but smile wildly. The sense of accomplishment in her heart gushed out like a volcano.

She put her hands on her hips and cast a coquettish glance at Lu Qing, "How about it, isn't my operation very nice?"
