Gu Yanli smiled and said, "I got promoted, but not because of this."
"It's because my wife is pregnant," Gu Yanli said this without Wei Hongtao asking.
And he added, "She's pregnant with two!"
Wei Hongtao was stunned at first, then delighted. He raised his hand and hit him on the shoulder. "Good boy, you have taken away all the good fortune."
Gu Yanli said modestly, "Thanks to the company commander!"
The two of them walked away, talking and laughing. Behind them, Shen Tingyu looked at his brother who was standing on one leg, "Brother, what are you going to do?"
