She used the chopsticks that Shen Tingci had used so naturally. Shen Tingci looked at her and thought: Tonight should be a real wedding night no matter what.
Shen Tingyu came out of the bridal chamber and saw the interaction between his elder brother and sister-in-law at the kitchen door. He only glanced at them twice, then turned away awkwardly and went to the main room to tidy up the tables and chairs.
His marriage seemed different from his elder brother's, Shen Tingyu thought.
Everything at the banquet was packed up and it was already past three in the afternoon.
After everyone had eaten, Chen Ying told Shen Tingyu, "Go back to the room and help your wife sort out her dowry. Tell her how to arrange the things and put them away. Please pack them up as soon as possible."
Although he was unhappy about Jiang Ruoruo's sullen face, everyone who was attending the banquet had left.
Even Aunt Shen and her family packed up the leftovers and took them home.
Chen Ying thought, now that she was married, she had to live her life as usual.
Shen Tingyu obediently went back to the house.
In the room, Jiang Ruoruo didn't eat the bowl of rice.

Then someone worked in the kitchen and made a bowl of sugar-water eggs and brought it back to the bridal chamber.
He took the cold rice to the kitchen and Chen Ying didn't see it, but she saw him take the candied eggs.
However, Chen Ying didn't know that Jiang Ruoruo was in a bad mood and didn't eat lunch. She just thought that Jiang Ruoruo was not full and didn't think much about it.
In the main hall, Shen Pengfei was saying to Shen Tingci, "You and Tingyu, I have decided to give all your gifts to yourselves."
Shen Tingci nodded. He didn't object, because he had already got his share, and it was natural that it was Shen Tingyu's turn.
After a pause, Shen Pengfei said, "There is something I haven't told you. I plan to divide the family after Ting Yu and his wife return home."
