"That's enough! How long are you going to make trouble?"
The old lady slammed the Buddhist beads in her hand on the table, her face full of anger.
She stared fixedly ahead, looking as if she didn't want to listen any further.
"Did you hear that?" Liu Wenxian pointed at Sang Luan, "How long are you going to make such a fuss?"
Sang Luan glanced at the old lady silently, then quickly looked away.
The old lady pointed the cane in her hand at Liu Wenxian and said slowly, "I'm talking about you!"
Liu Wenxian paused, then pointed at herself in disbelief, "Me?"
The old lady slowly shook her head. "I didn't stop you just now because I thought you could handle it well. But you've already punished her. Why are you being so harsh now?"
The anger on Liu Wenxian's face subsided visibly.
Instead, there was a look of surprise.
Sang Luan couldn't help but glance sideways at the old lady. She didn't expect that the old lady would actually speak for her.
Liu Wenxian swallowed silently, her lips trembling, "I...I want her to behave herself."
The old lady waved her hand and said, "Don't tell me these things. I just want to ask you, how much of what I said to you before did you listen to?"
Liu Wenxian looked confused.
