Chapter 224 Plastic Ring

Tu Ling sniffed and said, "I admit that I did hide some things from my two sisters before, but my original experience is really similar to what I told them."

As she spoke, she raised her right hand above her head and said firmly, "If you two sisters don't believe me, I can swear an oath right now."

Sang Luan and Meng Youning said nothing, just looked at her silently.

Tu Ling: "My original name is Tu Ling, and I'm from Shunzhou. I went to Shengjing a few years ago, but for some strange reasons I left for several years. I only came back recently."

Her tone was slightly anxious.

She raised her eyes and looked at Sang Luan again, who still had that indifferent look on his face.

The tears in Tu Ling's eyes fell instantly. She raised her hand to wipe them away and slowly straightened up.

"I've been so frank with you, but you two sisters still don't want to believe me?"

Sang Luan turned her head this way and that, refusing to meet Tu Ling's gaze.

Tu Ling narrowed her eyes slightly, and a nameless anger quickly spread in her heart.

"Why are you two sisters pretending so much?" Tu Ling pursed her lips. "Aren't you two sisters hiding something from me?"

Sang Luan frowned and blurted out subconsciously, "What did we hide from you?"

"You two sisters are clearly not the daughters of ordinary families." Tu Ling's eyelids trembled slightly, and her distinct eyelashes could be seen. "And you two sisters have never told me your names."

Meng Youning asked back without thinking, "When you approached us with your purpose, didn't you already get all the information?"

"No!" Tu Ling shook her head violently. "That's not the case at all. I only found out about your identities these past two days, but before that, I simply saw that your clothes were elegant, so I thought of using your connections to see if I could avenge my parents sooner..."

After she finished speaking, Tu Ling lowered her head and couldn't help sobbing.

Sang Luan stood up and clapped her hands. At this moment, the cakes in front of her had been completely eaten by her.

She turned around and took Meng Youning's hand, "Ningning, let's go."

Meng Youning leaned over and gave Tu Ling a deep look. "If you want to do something, do it yourself. Don't come to us again. We're not close enough to you to call you sister all the time."

As the two were about to leave the private room, Tu Ling suddenly spoke up, "Meng Youning, Crown Princess, the reason I came here today is to tell you something important."

Meng Youning subconsciously turned sideways.

"Ningning, don't trust her." Sang Luan looked alert and reached out to tug at Meng Youning's sleeve. "What important things could she have to tell us?"

Meng Youning paused, looked up and gave Sang Luan a reassuring look.

In a flash, she quietly sat back in her original position.

Seeing this, Sang Luan had no choice but to sit back down.

Seeing that the two of them really sat down obediently, Tu Ling unconsciously raised a smile at the corner of her mouth.

When Tu Ling turned her wrist, something appeared in her hand.

This thing looks small and exquisite.

Sang Luan couldn't help but blurt out, "What the hell is this? It looks like nothing."

When Meng Youning's eyes fell on the thing that Tu Ling took out, her movements suddenly stopped.

Amid Sang Luan's questioning tone, Meng Youning spoke up at the right moment, "It's a plastic ring. The bottom is made of plastic, shaped like a ring, and then a special dye is added. After a long period of care, it looks almost the same as a real jade ring."

She patiently explained, "Also, because the person who made it made a mistake and made it smaller than an average person's finger, this plastic ring is only for viewing and collection, and cannot be worn on the wrist."

Tu Ling's eyes lit up slightly, and her eyes were filled with inquiry, "I didn't expect that the Crown Prince's Consort would be so familiar with this kind of thing."

"I made this a few years ago with my then-best friend." She gently turned the plastic ring on her fingertips, twirling the tip of her finger slightly. "The Crown Princess should be familiar with this, right?"

As soon as these words were spoken, Sang Luan sensed something unusual.

She leaned towards Meng Youning and asked, "What's going on?"

Meng Youning stared at the plastic ring in Tu Ling's hand and said slowly, "I saw it in Qi Ran's small box before."

After thinking for a moment, she added, "Exactly the same."

Sang Luan was shocked, "Is he still hiding now?"

Meng Youning whispered, "No, the last time I went to his place and stepped on the handkerchief and it got dirty, he just threw it away along with the box. I don't know where it is now."

Tu Ling stared at the two people with their heads close together in front of her, leaned forward slightly, and listened carefully with her ears perked up.

There was only a rustling sound, which didn't sound very real.

Tu Ling frowned and tapped the plastic ring in her hand lightly on the table.

Meng Youning slowly sat up straight. "It's true I'm familiar with this. So, what do you want to say?"

Tu Ling's lips curled slightly, "Since the Crown Prince's Consort is familiar with it, that's good. I think you should have seen this thing at Qi Ran's place."

As soon as she finished speaking, she stood up and walked towards Meng Youning.

She slowly sat down next to Meng Youning.

Sang Luan narrowed her eyes slightly, looking at Tu Ling with a look full of vigilance, "What are you going to do?"

Tu Ling blinked, her eyes clear and innocent. "It seems that Sister Sang has a big misunderstanding about me. I'm just a weak woman. What can I do?"

She reached out and took Meng Youning's hand, then placed the thing in her hand steadily in Meng Youning's palm.

The next moment, she held Meng Youning's hand tightly with one hand and closed Meng Youning's palm, "Princess, I want to give this to you."

Sang Luan stood up and said, "No need. Since it's yours, just pack it up and don't give it away casually."

She pulled Meng Youning out with her backhand, "Ningning, let's go."

Meng Youning hummed lightly and stood up.

She slammed the plastic ring on the table. "Here's yours. I don't have the habit of accepting things from strangers."

Tu Ling tilted her head, a look of slight confusion on her face. "I seem to have heard that the Prime Minister's wife and the Crown Prince's wife don't get along on the surface, but I didn't expect that you two are so close in private."

There was a hint of excitement in her tone. "Could you two sisters tell me why those people said that to you? You're all very close friends."

Sang Luan's eyes shot towards Tu Ling, and she said in a bad tone, "As a woman, do you think your pathetic tricks will work in front of us?"

"What is Sister Sang talking about?" Tu Ling looked puzzled. "I'm just a little curious. I heard that besides you two, your husbands also don't get along with each other."

"By the way, I wonder what would happen if the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister knew about this?"

Tu Ling smiled sincerely, as if she was just someone who was waiting for her doubts to be answered.
