Tu Ling slightly turned sideways and glanced at Qi Ran calmly.
"Cang Hei is right. Xiao Ran'er is no longer the child who has not grown up before. Now that he has a wife, there are some things that need to be avoided."
Qi Ran turned around subconsciously and saw Tu Ling with her eyebrows lowered.
She was dressed in plain clothes, with only a wooden hairpin holding her hair up, which could barely be considered a piece of jewelry.
Qi Ran's heart tightened, and then his brows furrowed, and he glared at Cang Hei, "What's wrong with you? Why do you keep mentioning other people?"
Cang Hei covered his mouth, stood up silently, and took a step back consciously.
Qi Ran suddenly spoke up, "It's nothing, Sister Ling, don't listen to his nonsense. You Ning is not the kind of person who makes trouble for no reason. Sister Ling and her should get along well."
Tu Ling: "Is this really all right? It would be bad if a rift were to arise between you and the Crown Prince's Consort because of me."
Qi Ran waved his hand and said in a nonchalant tone, "Of course. Besides, Sister Ling, you're back now. I have to ask you to come back with me to take a look."
Tu Ling smiled with her eyebrows curved and the corners of her mouth curled up slightly, "Since Xiao Ran'er insists so much, then I will go there."
Suddenly, she paused.
His eyes were fixed on a certain position in front of him without blinking.
Qi Ran followed her gaze and saw a grandfather and grandson in front of him.
A girl held a freshly bought pancake in her hand and handed it carefully to the person in front of her.
The girl tilted her head slightly and said, "Grandpa, please eat this. I just bought it. It tastes better when you eat it hot. If it gets cold, it will become hard and you won't be able to eat it."
The little girl's face was rosy, and at first glance, her skin looked a little rough.
She held the pancake tightly in her hand, as if she was afraid that she would accidentally drop the pancake on the ground.
The old man whom she called grandpa was holding a bamboo stick in his hand and his body was slightly hunched.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, smiled and waved his hand, "Girl, you can eat this cake yourself. Grandpa doesn't like these sweet things."
The girl held the cake forward again, her tone puzzled, "But Grandpa, this cake is obviously salty."
The old man sighed, "No matter whether it's sweet or salty, I don't like any cakes. Girl, hurry up and eat them."
The girl looked down at the cake in her hand, then looked up at her skinny grandfather.
I didn't know what to do for a moment.
Qi Ran crossed his arms, his face full of emotion, "It seems that this grandfather just wants his grandson to eat more."
He shook his head slightly as he spoke.
Just as he was sighing, Tu Ling had already stepped forward.
Helpless, Qi Ran had to follow quickly.
As Tu Ling walked forward, he took out a bag of silver from his sleeve.
She took some change and bought four more pancakes from a nearby stall.
He walked up to the grandfather and grandson and stood in front of them, then stuffed the cake in his hand into the old man's hand.
When the old man started to speak, Tu Ling spoke first, "Old man, this is a little gift from me. You must keep it well. Take these cakes back and share them with your granddaughter."
At the same time, he placed the small bag of silver he had found in the old man's hand, "And this is just a small amount of silver, but it should be enough for you to live a comfortable life."
The old man was shocked and shook his head quickly, "No, girl, we can't accept your kindness for no reason."
Tu Ling quickly took a step back, looking serious, "Old man, please don't refuse anymore."
As she spoke, she stepped back and waved towards the grandfather and grandson. "Since I've given you the things, you can take them. If you really want to repay me, then let this child do more good deeds in the future."
The grandfather and grandson were deeply moved.
The old man quickly grabbed his granddaughter's hand and both of them knelt down towards Tu Ling.
The old man kept repeating, "Good man, the girl is really a very good person, we will definitely do as the girl asks."
The girl didn't know what doing good deeds meant. After kowtowing to Tu Ling, she slowly raised her head.
His eyes were fixed on Tu Ling.
There seemed to be a gleam in the girl's eyes.
She leaned sideways and asked, "Grandpa, what does big sister mean by doing good deeds?"
Grandpa stood up and looked at Tu Ling's back as she left. "Doing good deeds is like that big sister, helping others to have enough to eat."

After saying goodbye to Meng Youning, Sang Luan went straight back to Furong Garden.
Now, she can go to both Wufengxuan and Furongyuan.
Sang Luan lay on the table, fiddling with the jade pot in front of her boredly.
He opened the lid, leaned over to take a look inside, and then closed it again.
Her brows unconsciously knitted together.
Just before coming back, she went to Qiuzhuangxia on purpose.
It’s not difficult to get more money.
But it will take at least half a month before the shop starts to show results.
Tu Ling's sudden appearance completely disrupted her and Ning Ning's original plan.
She vaguely felt that Tu Ling was of absolutely no benefit to her and Ning Ning.
Today she also found that Ningning was obviously sad.
She clenched her hands into fists, placed her left fist on top of her right fist, and leaned her head forward.
"Miss, is there anything bothering you?" Yupo couldn't help but ask when she saw Sang Luan's worried look.
She thought about it and her tone became cautious, "Is it because of Miss Tu Ling?"
Sang Luan raised her eyes and glanced at Yupo, "Yes, but not entirely."
