Chen Wu saw Old Man Lu from a distance. Old Man Lu, who had come back with great momentum, also saw Chen Wu stretching outside the door.
The anger surged upwards, and his feet moved even faster.
Chen Wu didn't hide either, and winked at Xu Yin who was "exercising" in the yard.
Xu Yin understood in her heart that this was coming. The young man entered the village to pursue Lu Sulan. Everyone was at work today, so it would definitely be revealed.
She walked to the door and saw that Old Man Lu and his group had already approached, coming for Chen Wu.
The silky stick that originally spun in her hand.
It seems to have slipped out accidentally...
Seeing this, Shen Wu shouted, "Dad, it's dangerous, hide!"
The stick flew out unexpectedly, and was heading towards them. The angry old man Lu noticed it, but it was already too late. Immediately, his anger turned into a desire to dodge the stick.
"Bang!"
The stick stabbed straight into the mud in front of Old Man Lu, scaring away the little bugs that were originally smelling the stinky mud that had not yet completely dried up.
It wasn't just the small flying insects that were scared. Old man Lu, who was originally furious, looked at the stick stuck in front of him, but now he calmed down from head to toe as if he had been hit on the head with a stick.
"Xu Yin! What's wrong with you? Why are you practicing martial arts and almost hitting your father?" Shen Wu raised her voice.
"Dad, are you okay?" Shen Wu asked with concern.
Xu Yin just looked at Shen Wuyan quietly, her face calm, but there was indeed a smile in her eyes that could not be hidden.
Old Man Lu was still in shock from the near-fatal blow, and when he saw Chen Wu approaching with concern, he was a little slow to react.
The person in front of him had already complained, "Dad, this is all Xu Yin's fault. Please teach her a lesson and don't let her do anything with weapons at home."
"Xu Yin, look, you almost hurt Dad."
Old Man Lu couldn't help but look in the direction of Xu Yin, only to see that her expression was still indifferent.
Xu Yin stepped forward and pulled the stick out of the mud. "My hand slipped. I was careless."
…
In just a moment, the people who were eating melons in the field caught up.
When Lu Laoliu saw this scene, he slapped his forehead suddenly. It’s over!
He has to get help!
Which piece of land are the third and fourth brothers on?
Xu Yin pulled the stick away but frowned and asked, "I had originally thought that there was no one here..."
So you blame him for showing up at the wrong time?
Old Man Lu was getting angry and was about to speak when a sweet voice sounded.
"Dad, why did you come back at this time?" Shen Wu asked appropriately.
Good job!
He had just been thinking about asking Chen Wu what she had done, but after being interrupted like this, he completely forgot everything. It was only after Chen Wu reminded him that he remembered.
Both of them are infuriating!
Old Man Lu looked left and right, not knowing who to pick on first. His original anger towards Chen Wu was now diluted into two.
Shen Wu continued to complain about Xu Yin, "Dad, look at her!"
"I almost hurt you today!"
"Don't worry about why you're here. Let's go home first. I made some mung bean soup. Drink some to cool down."
…
Old Man Lu knew that the two of them didn't get along. After listening to Shen Wu's complaint, he felt that Xu Yin's matter was not that important. He gritted his teeth and said, "Go home and tell me. I have something to ask you."
"Dad, I'm just concerned about you. Why are you angry with me about Xu Yin's stick?" Chen Wu said, "Dad, even when you're older, you still need to be reasonable."
He was being unreasonable.
Old Man Lu thought about the way the villagers looked at him in the past two days, and then looked at the culprit, and he was almost laughing out of anger.
Xu Yin held the stick and looked back, "Dad, I was careless. Let's not stand here anymore. Everyone is laughing at us."
Old Man Lu turned around.
Seeing a group of gossipy eyes.
When he looked over, someone coughed and someone turned around.
Someone laughed awkwardly and said, "Uncle Lu, please continue!"
Old Man Lu was usually a respectable man in the village. When he saw the look of the crowd, and then looked at his two daughters-in-law, his head hurt. He realized that as a father-in-law, why should he teach his daughters-in-law? This was not decent and against the rules.
This matter is his son's!
It is something that the mother-in-law should do, not something that he, the father-in-law, can do.
Old Man Lu suppressed his anger and strode into the yard first. He shouted at Shen Wu and Xu Yin at the door, "Come in!"
Wait until the Lu family members go in.
He slammed the door shut.
The people who stayed behind to watch the show looked at each other in bewilderment. Some stood on tiptoe against the courtyard wall, some pushed the door open to create a crack and looked inside, and some went to Feng's house next door and stood on a stool to watch from her house.
Everyone is waiting to eat melons.
"You don't know, that landlord's son at that time was well-educated and had good handwriting, not to mention his kindness to me. What a pity..."
Old Mrs. Lu and Li Ping were sighing.
Li Ping was almost drowsy from listening when suddenly several people came in. When she opened her eyes, her man was also there, with a confused look on his face.
When Mrs. Lu saw that it was Old Man Lu, she shut up instantly, "Old man, why are you back?"
Old Man Lu wanted to tell this to Old Lady Lu and ask her to scold her daughter-in-law, but when he saw that Old Lady Lu was dressed neatly with her hair combed shiny, he remembered that she disliked his appearance.
Her mind was in a mess about the young man pursuing her, and she didn't know where to start.
The people lying on the courtyard wall were still waiting to watch the fun.
Mai Miao Niang stepped on Old Lady Feng's stool and shouted, "Mr. Lu, that young man is not chasing you!"
