Chapter 62 The Young Prince is Lost

Jiang Luoluo had previously focused all her attention on Gu Boyuan and rarely participated in gatherings of noble ladies in the capital, so she had no impression of this woman who called herself a princess.

But right now, this woman is acting so arrogantly and domineeringly on the street, even hitting a little boy who is just sick, and calling him a little monster.

Jiang Luoluo was furious, and a sense of injustice welled up in her heart.

The princess's maid seemed to feel that she hadn't pushed hard enough, so she gave the boy another hard shove, causing him to fall heavily to the ground again.

Seeing this, Jiang Luoluo no longer hesitated, quickly finished the last wonton, put the bowl and chopsticks back on the table, pushed back the stool and stood up.

She quickly walked to the little boy's side, bent down, and helped him up. Seeing that he was covered in dust, but his little face only showed stubbornness and determination, she couldn't help but ask softly, "Did you hurt yourself?"

The little boy suppressed his grievances, pursed his lips, shook his head, and looked up with his dusty little face, saying earnestly, "It doesn't hurt, pretty sister!"

Jiang Luoluo felt both pain and anger in her heart when she saw his stubborn appearance. She turned around and gave the princess a cold look.

Then she turned to the little boy and said gently, "You want to eat sugar figurines? How about I treat you? Take as many as you want."

The little boy's eyes lit up instantly when he heard Jiang Luoluo's words, and he asked with a face full of joy, "Really, pretty sister?"

Jiang Luoluo gently ruffled his messy hair, took his little hand, and said with a soft smile, "Of course!"

The little boy smiled as brightly as a flower. He carefully reached out and took a sugar figurine from the stall.

With a serious expression on her little face, she said, "Pretty sister, one is enough. My father said that eating too many will cause cavities, so I'll just have a taste."

As he spoke, he stood on tiptoe, held the sugar figurine high, and offered it to Jiang Luoluo, "Sister, have a taste!"

Jiang Luoluo couldn't help but laugh at his obedient nature. She gently pinched his chubby little face and said with a smile, "You little rascal, eat it yourself. I'll just buy another one."

The little boy finally got permission, put the sugar figurine in his mouth, and took a few crunching bites, his face beaming with satisfaction.

Jiang Luoluo turned around and bought two more sugar figurines. She handed one to Dingdang and took a bite of the other herself, the sweet taste melting in her mouth.

However, the woman who called herself a princess was filled with rage when she saw this scene. How dare someone glare at her in the street and stand up for this little beggar!

"Do you know who I am? You dare to oppose me? You're courting death!" The woman in the brick-red dress stood with her hands on her hips, shouting loudly, her eyes full of arrogance and disdain.

Immediately, she shouted, "Green Willow, go up and slap her twice!"

Upon hearing this, Dingdang's face immediately darkened. Although her injuries had not fully healed and she had not brought her sword with her when she went out today, her heart was not wavering in protecting her master. She immediately stepped forward and stood in front of Jiang Luoluo, glaring angrily.

The maid named Green Willow rushed forward aggressively, about to make a move, when Jiang Luoluo's voice rang out. Her voice was clear and melodious, yet authoritative without being angry, "Princess, which princess are you?"

Jiang Luoluo stared directly at the other person. Although her tone was calm, every word she spoke carried a sharp edge, causing Lü Liu to pause in surprise and subconsciously stop her movements.

Green Willow looked back at the princess behind her and saw her walking forward with an arrogant expression, so she stepped aside and stood still.

The princess raised her chin, looked Jiang Luoluo up and down with disdain, and sneered, "I am Princess Anrou of the Great Qi Dynasty. Are you blind? How dare you block my way?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Luoluo showed no anger on her face. Instead, she smiled slightly and said in a calm and proper tone, "Oh, so it's Princess Anrou."

As she spoke, she slowly curtsied, her attitude respectful yet composed, "Greetings, Princess Anrou."

This Princess Anrou, Lu Anrou, is the second daughter of the Prince of Yan, and is of noble status. No one present dared to offend her easily, but Jiang Luoluo was not afraid at all.

She quickly recalled the plot about Lu Anrou in the book, her smile deepening as she devised a plan.

Seeing Jiang Luoluo's polite yet dignified demeanor, Princess Anrou was slightly taken aback, then narrowed her eyes, her tone becoming even more aggressive, "Knowing my identity, you still dare to step forward?"

Jiang Luoluo held a sugar figurine in her hand, a faint smile on her face, but her voice was unhurried and carried a hint of coldness: "Princess Anrou, His Highness Prince Yan has always been benevolent and loves his people."

She never abuses her status to oppress the common people, yet now the princess is bullying a child in the street, relying on her position. If this reaches His Highness the Prince of Yan's ears, what does the princess think should be done?

Before he finished speaking, the onlookers had already started discussing it, their voices rising and falling.

"Yeah, this is two adults bullying a child. What kind of skill is that?"

"That child didn't do anything wrong. He was just standing in front of the sugar figurine stall. How did that get in the princess's way?"

"Hey, keep your voice down! She's a princess, of noble status, we can't afford to offend her."

"So what if she's a princess? Does that give her the right to bully ordinary people? Our Great Qi governs the world with benevolence and righteousness!"

The murmurs grew louder, and Princess Anrou's face turned ashen. If her father found out about this, she would inevitably be punished again.

She glanced around at the people who were pointing and pointing with their heads down, her chest heaving violently. She was clearly very angry, but she couldn't vent her anger in the street.

Lu Anrou gritted her teeth, glared at Jiang Luoluo, and said, "This time, I, the princess, will spare you for now!" Then she turned and left, with Green Willow following closely behind, her face showing resentment.

The little boy smiled broadly, holding half a sugar figurine in his hand, and said excitedly, "Pretty sister, you're amazing!"
