"Do you know that the Bai and Gu families seem to have a mysterious laboratory?" Xia Yue asked Qin Yeting again.
Qin Yeting's expression was somewhat subtle. He couldn't directly say he didn't know, so he could only say, "I will send someone to investigate. I will notify you as soon as I have any news."

Xia Yue got off the car, wanting to take a closer look.
Just then, the manor gates opened, and a beautiful young woman with fair skin and a white dress walked out.
The young woman's gaze fell on Qin Yeting, and she spoke gently, adopting the demeanor of a virtuous wife and loving mother.
"Mr. Qin, you're finally back. And who is this?"
The woman looked at Xia Yue with a hint of subtle hostility in her eyes.
