Chapter 230 An Unprovoked Force
Upon entering the manor, Xia Yue immediately sensed a heavy, malevolent aura.
It seems like a lot of professional killers have gathered here.
Even the white wolf wasn't very enthusiastic when it saw her; instead, it looked around warily.
Xia Yue patted the white wolf's head to comfort it before going to Qin Yeting's study.
Qin Yeting frowned, sporting dark circles under his eyes.
He has barely slept for the past three days, constantly trying to find a way to get Shang Zexi out of trouble.
If he couldn't retrieve it, he was prepared to use special methods.
"Little Yue'er, I've been thinking about it. Country A might be in turmoil soon. How about we send you back to China first?" Qin Yeting suggested loudly.
Xia Yue immediately understood Qin Yeting's deeper meaning: "You're planning to use force to save Shang Zexi?"
"This is a last resort, a last-ditch effort," Qin Yeting explained frankly.
He has already made preparations; the manor already has the first wave of experts he has gathered, ready to break him out of prison at any time!
Xia Yue actually shared the same thoughts as Qin Yeting.
Even so, she still advised, "Don't do that for now, it's too dangerous."
"I know, so I'm trying to find connections and smooth things over," Qin Yeting explained in a low voice.
Xia Yue stepped forward and gave Qin Yeting a hug.
The two remained silent for a few seconds, and time seemed to drag on endlessly.
Finally, Xia Yue asked, "Is there anything I can help with?"
"No, you just need to take care of yourself. These are men's things." Qin Yeting didn't want Xia Yue to get involved.
This is too dangerous.
Xia Yue insisted on getting involved, saying, "I'm your wife. If I'm not standing by your side now, when will we be?"

"Their overall interests are aligned, but this matter is ultimately a private affair of the Bai family. As long as the benefits offered are sufficient, the black market may not stand idly by." Qin Yeting had already calculated it out.
At worst, they could give up some shares in the oil company.

Xia Yue then said, "If it's the black market, I'd like to see Mr. Dark."
Mr. Dak is the second-in-command of the black market exchange and Xia Yue's biological father, Xia Xiong Hui.
Now that my mother has woken up, my father has never come to visit her even once.
Xia Yue desperately wanted to know why her father had been avoiding the question.
“Okay, I’ll make the arrangements. You can meet him in my place tomorrow.” Qin Yeting readily agreed.
As long as he wasn't going to see Gu Chen, Qin Yeting was very generous.
Xia Yue was excited to learn that she could see her father again, and finally forced herself to fall asleep by taking a sleeping pill.
The next day, she got up early again and changed her clothes several times, but she was not satisfied with any of them.
She hadn't seen her father in a long time and wanted to make a good impression on him.
Seeing Xia Yue so serious, Qin Yeting couldn't help but tease her, "It's a good thing you're going to see your father-in-law, otherwise I wouldn't have let you leave the house."
"Would you like to come with me?" Xia Yue suggested with a smile.
Qin Yeting also wanted to go, but two more groups of experts were coming today, and he had to personally take charge of their reception.
If we really have to resort to the worst possible strategy of breaking someone out of prison in the future, these experts will be an indispensable force.
"I'll send Assistant Zhou to accompany you," Qin Yeting said softly.
Xia Yue shook her head. "Forget it, I can handle it by myself, so you don't need to worry. Assistant Zhou can stay and assist you."
Now that Shang Zexi is gone, you have to handle so many things on your own, and it really breaks my heart."
"Oh, so my wife knows how to be considerate now?" Qin Yeting couldn't help but laugh.
Xia Yue raised an eyebrow, and Qin Yeting kissed her directly.
The couple lingered for a while before Xia Yue went out.
The place agreed upon with Xia Xiong Hui was not inside the black market exchange, but an inconspicuous coffee shop outside.
The saying "the truly wise live in seclusion in the city" probably describes this idea perfectly.
Who would have thought that a powerful figure who could stir up trouble in Country A would be discussing matters in a place like this?
However, when Xia Xiong Hui saw that the person who appeared was not Qin Yeting, but Xia Yue, he looked surprised for a few seconds.
"Hello, Mr. Dark," Xia Yue greeted him casually.
Xia Xiong Hui smiled somewhat helplessly and didn't beat around the bush, saying directly, "You came to find me to save Shang Zexi, right?"
"Mr. Dak is very well-informed."

There is no difference between the two.

Xia Xiong Hui tried to persuade him earnestly.
