Chapter 417 Drug Leader's Joy Turns to Tragedy
"Let her go."
The Drug leader's four casual words decided Xia Yue's fate.
Xia Yue was surprised that the other party was so "easy to talk to" and immediately smiled broadly.
However, before her smile could fully appear, Gu Chen said again, "If she goes there, I won't do the surgery."
The moment those words were spoken, the air in the room seemed to freeze.
The high priest was surprised that Gu Chen, who was usually an extremely obedient dog, would actually rebel.

Gu Chen moved the corners of his mouth, wanting to explain, but found that whatever he said at this moment seemed somewhat ridiculous.
Therefore, he could only remain silent, but stubbornly blocked Xia Yue's path.
"Fine, you won't let me pass, huh? Then untie the ropes on my hands first, is that alright?" Xia Yue tried to negotiate with Gu Chen.
Gu Chen remained silent.

Xia Yue said nothing, pretending to be an obedient and resigned person.
Just as Xia Yue's handcuffs were unlocked, the cave shook again with a loud "boom".
This time the commotion is even bigger than the last one!
Everyone lost their balance and fell to the ground.
Gu Chen subconsciously tried to protect Xia Yue with his body, but Xia Yue reflexively kicked him away!
Her hands were no longer handcuffed, and she was free again. Of course, she wouldn't tolerate that bastard Gu Chen anymore.
