The room was very different from what she had imagined; it was filled with flowers and greenery, some of which were not even in season, yet they were still blooming vibrantly.
The room is decorated in a classical Chinese style, but a high-tech sleep pod in the very center breaks the harmony.
Under the moonlight, she ran towards the sleep pod, shouting as she ran, "Mother, I'm back! I even brought a friend to see you!"
Unfortunately, the sleep pod did not respond at all; the thick glass barrier prevented Yuexia from even touching the person she wanted to reach.
The Drug leader patted Yuexia's head and gently reminded her, "Keep your voice down, don't disturb your mother's sleep."
"Yes, yes, Yuexia knows." Yuexia lowered her voice, but still said excitedly, "Daddy, I want to introduce you to a friend!"
“I know, the High Priest just told me.” The Drug leader shifted his gaze to Xia Yue.
Xia Yue also began to sized up the leader. He was well-proportioned and tall, at least 1.9 meters, and wore a dragon-patterned mask that only revealed his eyes and mouth.
But Xia Yue felt strangely familiar with it!
She thought that in the missing part of her childhood memories, she must have seen this person before.
So she said directly, "Long time no see, Drug Chief."
"Oh? I didn't expect you to remember." The Drug leader was somewhat surprised.
Xia Yue smiled slightly and said, half-jokingly, "So many things happened back then, especially what you did to me, I remember them all very clearly."
As soon as she finished speaking, Xia Yue noticed that the other person's eyes had changed!
His aura also became cold and chilling!
