Chapter 25 Cui Hao is back in the ICU
"Yes, I didn't do that," Xia Yue replied crisply.
After saying that, she continued, "That night, I did encounter Cui Hao at the beach, but he had ulterior motives towards me. It was the gentleman next to me who saved me, and I acted in self-defense."
When I left, Cui Hao was unconscious. Who almost killed him later is another case; he had so many enemies, after all.
Officials looked grave upon hearing of the case's unexpected turn of events.
The lawyer sent by the Cui family was somewhat flustered, as he had never heard of this matter before.
Xia Yue continued, "Now, I'm going to sue Cui Hao for intentional assault; he's the real criminal!"
The official looked grave and said to the lawyer, "We must ask Cui Hao to come over here."
"But Young Master Cui can't get out of bed yet."
“We will take care of notifying him.” An official picked up his phone and went to the side to call Cui Hao.
Two minutes later, the official returned, saying in a shocked tone,
"Cui Hao had an accident at the hospital. The nurse who was administering his IV fluids gave him the wrong medication, and he is currently in the ICU. The Cui family has reported the incident to the police, saying that the nurse is involved in a crime."
