Chapter 415 Qu Wanwan is put on the operating table
Ten minutes later, a Drug member rushed over to report, "Reporting to the leader! Someone just infiltrated our ranks and kidnapped the experimental subject, Qu Wanwan. Their whereabouts are currently unknown."
"Who kidnapped them?" the Drug leader immediately pressed.
"It's...it's another test subject from before, named Feng Yao."
Upon hearing this, the Drug leader immediately glared at Xia Yue.
Gu Chen stepped in front of Xia Yue, instinctively protecting her, and explained to the Drug leader, "Sir, she was with me all night and definitely doesn't know about this. The most important thing now is to find her."
"Do I, the leader, need you to teach me how to do things?" The Drug leader glared fiercely at Gu Chen.
Gu Chen quickly lowered his head, his attitude humble.
When Xia Yue heard that Feng Yao had rescued Qu Wanwan, she breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a weight lifted from her heart.
But the high priest's words made Xia Yue tense up again.
"Please rest assured, Chief, the base is full of our spies. They've only escaped temporarily; they can't go far. The Chief's wife will wake up soon," the High Priest said confidently.
Gu Chen then tried to persuade her, "Regarding Madam's brain transplant plan, there are a few suitable test subjects. Why don't we try them out first?"
"No! This leader wants that princess from the Witch Kingdom! Since my wife is to be resurrected, she must have the most perfect and suitable body!" The Drug leader wouldn't listen to any advice and maintained his original attitude.
Gu Chen had no choice but to give up, and gave Xia Yue a helpless look, meaning that he had done his best.

"Yes!" the man immediately accepted the order.
"No!" Xia Yue rushed out to stop them, "Don't kill my brother!"
Xia Yue was truly terrified; she had witnessed firsthand how bloody and brutal drugs could be.
"How much money do you want, or how many elixirs do you want? I can make them for you! Please release my brother!" Xia Yue begged the Drug leader for mercy.
Even when faced with her own problems, she never bowed her head, no matter how much she suffered injustice and torment.
But when her loved ones were harmed, Xia Yue immediately panicked and became afraid.
However, the Drug leader was only interested in venting his anger and paid no attention to Xia Yue's pleas.
Xia Yue turned to Gu Chen for help again. With red eyes, she cried out anxiously, "Gu Chen, please help me! Please, please say a word for me, okay?"
"Junior sister, the leader's decision is not something we can change at will," Gu Chen refused in a low voice.
If Xia Yue needs anything, he will certainly speak up without hesitation.
But Feng Yao alone is not worth the risk for him.

He recently made a special instruction to his daughter not to go out, because he was afraid that Xia Yue's loose tongue would lead Yuexia astray.
Upstairs, under the moonlight, Xia Yue's shouts could still be heard.
Ignoring the bodyguards' attempts to stop her, she ran downstairs in her pink nightgown.
Upon seeing Xia Yue, she exclaimed with delight, "Sister Xia Yue! Where have you been these past two days? Why haven't you come to play with me?"
"Yuexia, can you do me a favor? Your father wants to kill my brother. My brother is very important to me. He can't die. Can you please plead for him?" Xia Yue placed her hopes on Yuexia.
Upon hearing this, Yuexia looked at her father and questioned him firmly, "Father, why did you kill Brother Feng Yao? Brother Feng Yao taught me how to fold paper airplanes, origami cranes, and lotus lanterns. He was a good person! You can't kill him!"
The Drug leader's attitude softened instantly when he heard his daughter plead for him.
"Alright, alright, I'll do as you say, I won't kill them, I won't kill them." The Drug leader agreed loudly.
The high priest suggested from the side, "Your Majesty, Feng Yao dares to openly oppose us Drugs. He may be spared the death penalty, but he will not escape punishment!"
I suggested bringing him over so he could witness the entire surgery firsthand and experience the feeling of seeing his loved one die right in front of him, and being powerless to do anything about it.
This is absolutely the greatest punishment he could receive.
"As expected of the High Priest, you've thought of everything." The Drug leader readily accepted, and then issued the order again.
Instead of killing Feng Yao, capture him alive and bring him here.
Hearing the group's vicious words, Xia Yue cursed them in her heart, wishing that one day they would also suffer the same fate of "the one they love dying in front of them and being powerless to stop it!"
The Drug leader had no idea what Xia Yue was thinking. He told her some good news, "Your mother will be resurrected today, aren't you happy?"
"Really? That's wonderful! Yuexia is going to have a mother! Mother is coming back! That's wonderful!!!" Yuexia was as happy as a lark, as if she could flap her wings and fly to the sky.
