Chapter 126 Absurd to the point of being lawless
Shen Zhenzhu told Xiaobai with certainty, "Feng Dahuan is suspicious. He's an old acquaintance of my godfather Zhou Qiushi, but he's never shown up before. After this case happened, he quickly appeared by my side and even tried to get involved in my mother's business. I overheard him mention 'fresh goods' that time."
Xiao Bai didn't know the meaning of "fresh goods" yet. Lu Ye recalled, "I've never heard anyone mention this word before."
Shen Zhenzhu could only lie and say, "The person being escorted just now muttered something that I heard."
Lu Ye was still wondering, "How come I didn't hear that? You must have misheard me, right?"
"What's wrong with you?" As Shen Zhenzhu's staunch lackey, Comrade Xiaobai said angrily, "Sister Zhenzhu said she heard it, so she must have heard it. You should go see a doctor."
"Hey, what are you so angry about? Maybe someone was talking to me and we missed it. Let's hurry back and report to the boss." Lu Ye rubbed his ears.
Chen Zhenzhu pursed her lips and patted Xiaobai.
She's such a precious darling.
With renewed confidence, Shen Zhenzhu quickly contacted Gu Yanzheng.
Gu Yanzheng originally thought that catching five small fish and shrimps this time was not a breakthrough, but unexpectedly, when he was sleepy, the pillow came too.
“I will arrange for people to arrest him at his company and home. In addition, Qian Changda and Zhou Qiushi, who are closely related to him, will also be ‘invited’ to come as guests.”
"Thank you, Brother Zheng."
Gu Yanzheng naturally trusted Shen Zhenzhu, and had already assigned tasks to her before even arriving at the criminal investigation team.
Gu Yanzheng mentioned that Zhou Qiushi surprised Shen Zhenzhu, but after the surprise, she could understand Gu Yanzheng's considerations.
"Having a professional keep an eye on things" became a heavy responsibility for everyone; no one could afford to make a mistake. Gu Yanzheng, in particular, would not exclude Zhou Qiushi just because he knew him.
Director Tu had been monitoring the operation from Director Liu's office and instructed Director Liu to issue an arrest warrant immediately.
Soon, the city's criminal investigation team split into several groups to carry out the arrests.
The people arrested at Jinshi Port were sent for interrogation. Just as Gu Yanzheng had expected, they knew nothing about what they were transporting and had no idea that they were corpses. They only thought that the goods were smuggled from overseas.
The desktop phone rang, and this time Chen Junsheng answered it first. He covered the receiver and told Shen Zhenzhu and the others, "No one is home at Feng Dahuan's house."
The phone in front of Wu Zhongguo rang, and he said, "Feng Dahuan's home address in Shenyang is fake. He doesn't have a wife or children at all. It's just an unfinished villa with no water or electricity."
Shen Zhenzhu thought that after Feng Dahuan's wife arrived in Liancheng, she often spent time with Liu Leqin. Although she had never met her, she knew that the two had a close relationship. This made her identity a mystery. Perhaps, like Feng Dahuan, she was just using a false identity and was not actually his wife.
What was their initial purpose in approaching Zhou Qiushi and Liu Leqin?
The image of Zhou Qishan, the victim in the "Seven Fairies Case," flashed quickly through Shen Zhenzhu's mind.
If that's true... it's absolutely awful.
Zhou Qishan has been dead for three years. She was once cherished and raised by Zhou Qiushi and Liu Leqin. She was clever, delicate, kind and innocent. She was poisoned to death in the prime of her life.
Even though she has been gone for three years, the new department store is still named "SanSan" after her.
Shen Zhenzhu was unsure whether Zhou Qishan's death at Li Yun's hands was a blessing or a curse.
When Tian Yongfeng returned from the operation, he reported to Gu Yanzheng: "We didn't see Feng Dahuan at his company either. We've arrested all the people from 'Jutai' company, but they don't know much. They all seem to be ordinary people."
The phone kept ringing in the office. Not only had Feng Dahuan disappeared, but Qian Changda, who had always been relatively low-profile, had also vanished.
In the corridor, Zhou Qiushi followed Xiao Min and others to the criminal investigation team. Shen Zhenzhu stood at the door, watching him quietly, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back.
Zhou Qiushi comforted Shen Zhenzhu, saying, "Zhenzhu, I haven't done anything illegal or disorderly. Your godmother and I understand why you suddenly asked me to come. When I arrived, she even asked if I needed her cooperation. As long as it helps solve the case and get you out of danger as soon as possible, we'll do whatever you ask without hesitation. Don't say anything more, just focus on solving the case."
"Yes, I will release you as soon as possible." Shen Zhenzhu nodded.
"Mr. Zhou, could you please come over here and let Lao Wu chat with you for a while?"
"Okay, I'll answer anything you know."
Gu Yanzheng respected Zhou Qiushi quite a bit and arranged for Wu Zhongguo to go over for questioning. They weren't taken to an interrogation room, but rather a small conference room, though there were guards at the door.
Inside the office.
“Feng Dahuan isn’t home or at the company, and there’s no one in the warehouse either. There’s no way he could have escaped right under our noses.” Park Heung-sung huddled together with Tian Yong-feng again to discuss the matter.
It's already high in the sky, and everyone's been up all night without eating. Sixth Sister's restaurant is closed, but the office is filled with the aroma of instant noodles.
The other members were fine, having gotten used to staying up late with instant noodles, but the members of Team Four complained incessantly, acting like spoiled brats.
Lu Ye, holding a bowl of instant noodles, exclaimed, "Braised pork! I need to solve this case quickly so I can eat Sixth Sister's braised pork!"
Shen Zhenzhu didn't want to eat instant noodles, so she sat behind her desk and nibbled on a sausage. She thought it over and over, realizing that Feng Dahuan definitely wouldn't know about this operation, so where had he gone?
"Little White, did you bring the map back?" Chen Zhenzhu asked.
Chen Junsheng had become invisible. Determined to stay by Shen Zhenzhu's side, he immediately put down his instant noodles and said, "I'll go get it. There's some in the materials room."
"By the time you bring it, the daylily will be cold." Xiaobai leaned to one side, pulled a crumpled map from his back pocket, straightened it, and spread it out on the table, his chubby baby face full of disdain.
Chen Zhenzhu was drawing a route with a ballpoint pen when she noticed a slaughterhouse on the route.
Someone came over to watch together. When Shen Zhenzhu turned around and saw that it was Gu Yanzheng, she didn't say anything, but pointed to "Sanyang Slaughterhouse".
“I’ve already sent someone over, it’s a bit far, on the South Third Ring Road.” Gu Yanzheng casually put down three sandwiches and a coffee and said, “You three sisters… all the same.”
"Thank you, Brother Zheng. I was just thinking of eating something else." Shen Zhenzhu's dimples immediately appeared.
"Don't be so polite with me." Gu Yanzheng said, and then his cell phone rang again. The office was filled with the noise of a meeting, so he took it outside to answer the call.
Zhang Jie was washing her face outside when she came back and brushed past Gu Yanzheng. She saw Shen Zhenzhu and Xiao Bai eating sandwiches with gusto.
"Sister Zhang, eat quickly, it's still warm," Chen Zhenzhu said carelessly.
Xiao Bai picked up the sandwich and handed it to Zhang Jie, who said, "Thank you."
Xiao Bai swallowed the sandwich and said, "I didn't get it. Captain Gu was considerate of the three of us working hard all night. Sandwiches and canned coffee, here they are."
Zhang Jie asked in bewilderment, "It used to be different; it used to have beef inside."
Xiao Bai glanced at Chen Zhenzhu and said with a grin, "Things are different now. It's not just beef, it's Wagyu beef. How luxurious!"
"No wonder it melts in your mouth and has such a beautiful texture." The pearl was really delicious.
"Wow, then I have to finish it all." Zhang Jie leaned against the table, took a bite of the unusual sandwich, and nodded repeatedly: "The hardship of working overtime is swept away."
"We caught him!" Zhao Qiqi suddenly ran in from outside, excitedly saying, "Feng Dahuan was caught at the slaughterhouse. He was covered in blood when he was caught, and he even had the nerve to ask to have the cow bled before leaving. It's outrageous!"
Shen Zhenzhu hurriedly ran to the window, from which she could see Feng Dahuan just getting out of the police car.
I don't know how Zhao Qiqi got there, but she arrived on the fifth floor so quickly to deliver the good news.
The arrest of Feng Dahuan was like a shot of adrenaline for those who were working overtime late into the night.
He was brought in handcuffed, and he said to the officers guarding him, "Why are you arresting me? I killed a cow that I purchased legally. Is it illegal to kill cows in the city, or do you think cows are human beings?"
Gu Yanzheng hung up the phone and walked over, intending to interrogate her personally: "You should know what you've done."
Feng Dahuan stared at Gu Yanzheng's face, then suddenly smiled and said, "Section Chief Shen is my niece. Is this some kind of office power struggle? If you want to arrest me, you'll have to see if my niece agrees."
Lu Ye was amused by Feng Dahuan's shamelessness and shoved him into the interrogation room: "Who do you say is your niece? Don't try to claim any connection, and don't think you can take this opportunity to muddy the waters. Once you're in here, you'll have to confess whether you want to or not."
Shen Zhenzhu was watching from around the corner when Song Xinchen, stirring his instant noodles, said, "Why does everyone seem to be related to you?"
Before Shen Zhenzhu could speak, Chen Junsheng, mimicking Xiaobai's tone, said in a sarcastic Hong Kong-accented Mandarin, "You'd have to have that ability to back it up."
"A clever copycat." Xiao Bai was about to make a sarcastic remark when Chen Junsheng cut him off, making her eyes practically roll 360 degrees.
Shen Zhenzhu didn't want to talk to Song Xinchen. She quickly walked towards the interrogation room, hoping that Gu Yanzheng could dig out some information.
She was in front, followed closely by Xiao Bai and Chen Junsheng, two lackeys who kept pushing each other.
"Are people from Gangcheng like this too?" Song Xinchen felt more and more that the Liancheng Criminal Investigation Team was toxic.
...
"Feng Dahuan won't say a word, he's like a mute." Lu Ye came out of the interrogation room and asked Tian Yongfeng, "Has that guy surnamed Qian been caught?"
Tian Yongfeng said, "Catch them my ass, they've already run away. I don't know where they got the information from."
Shen Zhenzhu leaned against the wall outside the interrogation room, her brows furrowed.
Half a day later, Gu Yanzheng finally came out of the interrogation room: "He was prepared. He didn't say a word after going in and was very uncooperative. If this continues, we'll just have to wear him down."
Shen Zhenzhu said helplessly, "I should have known that a criminal of his caliber wouldn't confess easily. No matter what the outcome, he can't escape death."
Xiao Bai said sadly, "But we don't know when the person who's going to target you will make their move. It's so unpredictable."
Park Heung-sung returned empty-handed once again from the locations where Qian Changda frequently appeared.
"Checkpoints have been set up at train stations, bus stations, and highway entrances, and even at private airports and immigration checkpoints. It's been a whole day, and we still can't find them anywhere. It's really strange."
"All personnel, please proceed to the conference room for a case meeting in fifteen minutes." Xiao Min came out of the fourth team's office and informed Shen Zhenzhu and the others upon their return: "Director Liu is going to personally oversee this arrest operation. I heard that Director Tu is still in Director Liu's office. The provincial department must be putting pressure on us."
"Thanks." Shen Zhenzhu gave Xiao Min a grateful look.
"You're too kind, it's all worth it." Xiao Min admired her from the bottom of his heart for being able to solve the case calmly despite being watched by such an inhuman criminal organization. He probably couldn't have done it if it were him.
There was still some time, so Chen Zhenzhu went to wash her face first, and then went to the small conference room to deliver bread and coffee to Wu Zhongguo and Zhou Qiushi.
“I’ve looked into the situation, and Mr. Zhou has no problem with it. However, we still need to wait here. Please understand, Mr. Zhou.” Wu Zhongguo had eaten with Zhou Qiushi and they were acquaintances.
Zhou Qiushi talked with him for most of the day, and Shen Zhenzhu observed that his emotions did not fluctuate much, so he should be alright.
"Godfather, have something to eat to tide you over. I'll get you some boxed lunches for dinner." Chen Zhenzhu sat opposite Zhou Qiushi, tore open a piece of bread and handed it to him.
"Okay, it's time to take your medicine." Zhou Qiushi has diabetes; he can't eat too much, but he can't not take it either.
Wu Zhongguo ate his bread on the side, knowing that with Zhou Qiushi's financial strength, he could have easily hired a lawyer to make contact, but he didn't need to, and wanted to prove his attitude. His frankness and openness made a very good impression on Wu Zhongguo.
Shen Zhenzhu stayed with Zhou Qiushi for a few minutes and then let him call Liu Leqin to let her know he was safe.
A series of police sirens sounded outside. Shen Zhenzhu walked to the window of the small conference room to see who was honking their sirens in the criminal investigation team's parking lot.
Did they go on a mission or come back?
"Hey, where is this car from?" Wu Zhongguo waited until Zhou Qiushi hung up the phone before coming to the window.
Looking down from the fifth floor, two official vehicles that resembled police cars but were not quite police cars appeared below.
"What is this?" Wu Zhongguo also saw it: "A license plate number from Shenyang? Is it for Captain Liu and his team?"
Zhou Qiushi got up from the sofa and walked to Shen Zhenzhu's side. He also saw two strange cars downstairs, which even he, who was well-traveled, did not recognize: "Never seen them before—hey, isn't this Qian Changda? He's Feng Dahuan's vice president. Zhenzhu, you should have met him before."
As soon as he finished speaking, Chen Zhenzhu ran out like a gust of wind: "Godfather, stay a little longer, I'm going downstairs for a bit."
Shen Zhenzhu ran into the corridor and saw Park Heung-sung and the others running out as well. Gu Yanzheng stopped when he saw her and said, "Qian Changda came by himself."
Zhao Qiqi, gripping his gun, rushed down the stairs, exclaiming, "This is unbelievable!"
Tian Yongfeng also ran very fast: "Isn't this just like seeing a ghost?"
Shen Zhenzhu and Gu Yanzheng ran downstairs side by side, saying as they ran, "Does he even know that we're searching for him throughout the city?"
Gu Yanzheng said, "I'm afraid they would only come if they were confident in their plans."
Song Xinchen followed behind them, shouting, "Be careful, everyone! If there's a bomb, we're all doomed... Ouch, who stepped on my foot? Who's so blind?"
Kanghe brushed past him from behind: "Sorry, buddy, you're walking too slowly. I'm not afraid of being blown up. I'm going to see what dirty tricks that guy surnamed Qian is up to."
Shen Zhenzhu and Gu Yanzheng exchanged a glance, and then Xiaobai's voice came from behind them as if facing a great enemy: "Sister Zhenzhu, bulletproof vest, bulletproof vest!"
Shen Zhenzhu had no choice but to stop and let Gu Yanzheng go first. She put on her bulletproof vest and went down with Xiaobai and Zhang Jie.
When they arrived at the parking lot, Qian Changda was chatting with Liu Yiyang. He still had that tall and thin build, and his eyes were gleaming.
"'Special Operations Inspection Team of the Public Security Bureau'?" Liu Yiyang hesitated before showing Qian Changda's identification to Gu Yanzheng: "Old Gu, take a look at what department this is?"
Behind Qian Changda, a stranger in an olive-green uniform shouted, "Do you know what an 'Imperial Envoy' is? Our minister has been secretly investigating Feng Dahuan for years. Why didn't you apply to us beforehand to arrest him?! Now you've alerted him. Can you take responsibility for that?"
Oh my!
Shen Zhenzhu watched as he swaggered around in front of Gu Yanzheng and Liu Yiyang, the two heads of the Municipal Public Security Bureau's Major Crimes Unit, shouting a bunch of words that no one could understand, and reprimanding them for arresting Feng Dahuan.
Liu Yiyang examined the "Special Operations Inspection Team of the Public Security Bureau" document repeatedly. It contained the official seal, location, certificate number, and personnel information, but he had never heard of this department before.
Liu Yiyang handed it to Gu Yanzheng, thinking that Gu Yanzheng would know.
But judging from Gu Yanzheng's silence, he probably knew nothing about it.
Qian Changda then pulled out a letter from his pocket and handed it to Gu Yanzheng, saying, "This is a letter of introduction from the Provincial Public Security Department. It has the official seal of the Provincial Public Security Department on it. Now you can believe me, right?"
Gu Yanzheng opened the letter of introduction, glanced at it, and handed it to Chen Zhenzhu with a blank expression.
Shen Zhenzhu leaned over and glanced at it as well, then passed it on to Zhang Jie with a blank expression.
Zhang Jie quickly passed it on to Park Heung-sung, Tian Yong-feng, and others. After passing it around, everyone kept a tense expression and didn't say a word.
Those who haven't seen it are impatient; once they have, they'll understand why everyone is keeping a straight face—because they're afraid of laughing out loud!
The atmosphere suddenly became very strange.
Gu Yanzheng also swallowed the urge to laugh and extended his hand to greet Qian Changda: "I am very happy that Director Zhou of the Provincial Public Security Department could personally visit our small municipal bureau. Why didn't you tell us in advance? We could have prepared a better reception."
"How could you let your municipal bureau know about a special operation so easily? This operation was personally assigned to me by the Ministry of Public Security to carry out the infiltration and arrest, and I never expected that you would interfere with my work."
Xiao Bai was squeezed at the back of the crowd. When he heard the words "Director Zhou", his eyelids twitched. There was only one Director of the Provincial Public Security Department with the surname Zhou.
Dad?
She snatched the "letter of introduction" from Song Xinchen, skimmed through it, and finally saw a line in the personnel assignment section: Zhou Shoumin, Executive Leader of the Special Operations Inspection Team of the Public Security Department and Director of the Provincial Public Security Department.
audacious madman!
Xiao Bai's eyes were about to pop out, but because he was behind a group of people, he couldn't see Qian Changda's face even if he jumped up.
Qian Changda, head held high, walked around them with his hands behind his back, and said with a forced smile, "What are you all standing there for? Go and bring Feng Dahuan down here."
"So you're a leader from the Public Security Bureau. I've heard so much about you." Gu Yanzheng smiled and turned to the people surrounding him, saying, "Well, the flood has submerged the Dragon King Temple, so everyone go back to your work. I'll give the leader a case report first."
Qian Changda initially wanted to refuse, but while he hesitated, Shen Zhenzhu said with a smile, "Director Zhou, since you're here, you should give us a chance to show our abilities and report on our recent work progress so we can coordinate things."
“...Alright.” Qian Changda nodded heavily when he saw Shen Zhenzhu standing unharmed in front of him. “Not bad, completely unscathed. Feng Dahuan is too good at pretending. I was thinking that if he dared to lay a hand on you, I would definitely not let him off easily.”
Shen Zhenzhu said with a forced smile, "Thank you for your concern, Director Zhou. Don't worry, no matter how cunning the criminals are, I can catch them and have them shot."
"Hmm, a good policeman." Qian Changda turned to Gu Yanzheng and asked, "When will you report?"
Gu Yanzheng smiled warmly and beckoned Xiaobai over: "Come on, take Director Zhou to the conference room to rest. I'll be right there."
Xiao Bai knew that Gu Yanzheng was doing this on purpose. She walked up to Qian Changda and said dryly, "Director Zhou, please come with me."
Qian Changda glanced at Xiaobai up and down, and said nonchalantly, "You're eating quite well, you're chubby, you must have gotten in through the back door, right?"
All around were suppressed laughter. Xiao Bai, his face pale, said, "Director Zhou, although my face is a bit chubby, I can run really fast. Do you know the Public Security University? I'm one of this year's top ten outstanding graduates!"
"Not bad, not bad, there's a successor." Qian Changda said perfunctorily, using an awkward, bureaucratic tone throughout.
He took a couple of steps and saw the police cars surrounded by officers. He said to Gu Yanzheng, "Those accompanying you should also go up there."
Shen Zhenzhu gestured to Lu Ye and the others, instructing them to release the seven fake police officers in the car and follow Qian Changda upstairs.
Park Heung-sung quickly organized a team to inspect the two official vehicles belonging to the "Special Operations Inspection Team of the Public Security Bureau." Apart from the "Special Pass," there were no dangerous items.
A group of people rushed upstairs. Xiao Bai, quick-witted, immediately led Qian Changda and the others to the conference room on the floor with the interrogation rooms. That would make it easier to detain them later.
Both Director Tu and Director Liu stood at the top of the stairs looking up.
"Who is this?" Director Tu was amazed by the grand spectacle.
Shen Zhenzhu followed behind, clattering up the stairs. She leaned close to Director Tu and said in a disrespectful tone, "Your immediate superior."
Director Tu laughed angrily: "Who exactly is it?"
Lu Ye followed up from the floor below and said, "Xiao Bai's dad."
Shen Zhenzhu grinned and said, "You're talking nonsense. Xiaobai's dad is still working. He doesn't have time for this."
Lu Ye and Wu Zhongguo laughed even harder, while Shen Zhenzhu stood there looking inexplicably like a little fool.
"You go and keep an eye on things first." Gu Yanzheng pushed the little fool upstairs, staying downstairs himself, and said, "I'll give you two a brief report on the situation..."
After he finished speaking briefly, the two leaders, who were kept in the dark, were also amazed.
"This is ridiculous! They've managed to fool our city's criminal investigation team. Do they think we're all idiots?"
Director Liu glanced up again, and after a long pause, said, "No wonder you searched high and low and still couldn't find him; he walked right into our trap. Ridiculous! Ridiculous! Did you really think you could rescue Feng Dahuan like this?"
Gu Yanzheng said, "Beneath the absurdity lies the lawlessness of criminals."
Director Tu said, "If necessary, let them meet and pay attention to what they say. Also, keep a close eye on Feng Dahuan and make sure he isn't actually rescued."
"yes."
Gu Yanzheng strode upstairs, but was stopped by Director Liu: "Hey, hurry up, there's a 'grand competition' on the second floor where you can take a photo with Director Zhou."
Gu Yanzheng said, "It has already been taken down."
......
In the conference room, Shen Zhenzhu invited Qian Changda to sit down and poured him some tea: "Captain Gu will be here soon, please wait a moment."
Qian Changda stopped her and asked, "Make everyone at the door leave. This is a secret operation. How can we keep it secret if they all know about it?"
You know that too?
Shen Zhenzhu waved her hand towards the door, signaling the group of people watching the monkey show to disperse openly.
When Gu Yanzheng arrived, Qian Changda was calmly drinking tea: "Why didn't you bring Feng Dahuan with you?"
Gu Yanzheng said, "We cannot end our work until he confesses."
Qian Changda slammed his teacup down and angrily said, "Didn't you just say I could see him?...What did he say?"
Gu Yanzheng handed the transcript to Qian Changda: "He didn't confess to anything, but there are still procedures for taking someone away. If you take him away like this, what will happen to our case?"
Qian Changda sneered and said, "I don't think you can solve this case. Don't worry about it anymore, I'll take care of it."
Gu Yanzheng nodded: "Okay."
I heard that Feng Dahuan didn't confess to anything, and the record book was empty. The time and information of his arrest were clearly written on it, so Qian Changda knew that it couldn't have been arranged by the police to deceive him. He could only say that Feng Dahuan was a very loyal person, and he took responsibility when asked to.
After listening to Gu Yanzheng's report, Qian Changda and the others finally saw Feng Dahuan arrive.
Feng Dahuan appeared at the conference room door in handcuffs, his face showing undisguised shock: "Why are you here? You've been arrested too?"
Seeing that Feng Dahuan looked haggard and did not avoid his gaze, Qian Changda walked up to him and said, "Enough with the nonsense, I'm here to take you back for interrogation."
Before Feng Dahuan could even understand the situation, he noticed from observing the expressions and demeanor that things weren't as he had imagined. The criminal investigation team members who had arrested him were actually quite polite to Qian Changda.
He wisely kept his mouth shut, afraid of saying the wrong thing.
Gu Yanzheng, holding the documents, said, "Please have Director Zhou sign this, and I'll stamp it later so you can leave."
Feng Dahuan's eyes shone with unprecedented joy; he hadn't expected to leave so soon after entering. Recalling Scarface's frequent gestures of kindness, he assumed Scarface was the one who had devised the plan to save him—truly a loyal and righteous man.
Qian Changda wrote down the three characters "Zhou Shoumin" with a flourish of his pen.
Gu Yanzheng put away the documents and said politely, "Feng Dahuan is yours now, but could those comrades come out with me for a moment? Your identification documents also need to be registered."
"Go on." Qian Changda gave his men a wink. They saw that Feng Dahuan had already entered, so they left with Gu Yanzheng.
"You go out too, I have something to ask him."
This was the fourth floor. Shen Zhenzhu didn't believe that Qian Changda had pulled Feng Dahuan to jump off the building to escape. She glanced at the video camera she had hidden beforehand and followed him out.
After they left, Feng Dahuan stepped forward, tears streaming down his face, and said, "Why did you come to save me? You'd better run, they'll catch you soon!"
Qian Changda was not as agitated as him, and said in a cold voice, "It's all your fault for being careless. Where exactly did you slip up?"
Feng Dahuan said, "Scarface asked me to receive the goods, and I suspect there's a problem on his end. He wants to break up with the mixed-race guy, and who knows, they might both want to get rid of each other."
Qian Changda poured tea for Feng Dahuan and asked him to sit down, saying, "Have you told them about the organization?"
Feng Dahuan said, "I swear I didn't say anything. Besides, if my past were exposed, I wouldn't be able to live. Don't worry, I'll remember your kindness in coming to save me today. Even if I get caught again, I'll keep quiet and not reveal your secret."
“We’re all brothers, and you’re still our chief ‘butcher,’ how can we let anything happen to you?” Qian Changda said after Feng Dahuan finished his tea. “Don’t say anything in a moment. I’ll take you out and make other arrangements.”
Feng Dahuan nodded in agreement: "Good brother, I will definitely listen to you. Don't worry, I won't say anything."
When Gu Yanzheng returned, Feng Dahuan's expression was no longer tense, indicating that he should know that the criminal investigation team had been fooled by Qian Changda.
In the 1990s, information networks were underdeveloped and government departments were numerous and complex, often resulting in situations where people within the same organization did not recognize each other.
Qian Changda had once used this to "rescue" one of his men from a police station. This time, realizing that the police were searching for him everywhere, he decided to go all in and take a gamble.
But time was of the essence, and he couldn't make meticulous plans; he had no choice but to force his way in. Moreover, Scarface was furious upon learning of Feng Dahuan's arrest, so he had to take action.
"All the formalities are complete, you can leave now," Gu Yanzheng said, standing at the door.
Qian Changda glanced at Feng Dahuan: "Let's go, what are you still standing there for?"
As they left the meeting room and walked into the hallway, they realized something was wrong.
"We didn't come up from here. Where are you taking us?" one of Qian Changda's bald henchmen asked.
Qian Changda also sensed something was wrong in the corridor; both sides were filled with police officers, each with a weapon on their waist.
Chen Zhenzhu waved from the other end of the corridor: "Director Zhou, there's an elevator over here."
Qian Changda followed without changing his expression. When he reached the end, he found that next to Chen Zhenzhu was a detention room, not an elevator.
"What do you mean?" Qian Changda lowered his voice, his sinister gaze fixed on Chen Zhenzhu.
Shen Zhenzhu looked him straight in the eyes: "You should know what I mean."
Gu Yanzheng said from behind Shen Zhenzhu, "Make the arrest."
"Don't move!"
"Put down your weapons!"
Qian Changda's men were immediately apprehended by the surrounding police!
Shen Zhenzhu drew her pistol and pointed it at Qian Changda: "You're not allowed to move either."
Feng Dahuan rushed to Shen Zhenzhu's side and blocked the muzzle of her gun, shouting to Qian Changda, "Run back! Run now!"
Seeing this, Gu Yanzheng strode over and said, "Be careful."
With lightning speed, Shen Zhenzhu saw Qian Changda hastily draw a sharp blade from his waist and stab Feng Dahuan in the back!
"Go to hell!"
"You—" Feng Dahuan was caught off guard, his pupils widened slightly, filled with astonishment!
With one hand supporting her on the ground, Shen Zhenzhu kicked hard from under Feng Dahuan's arm, striking Qian Changda's wrist where he was holding the knife, and the blade was thrown aside.
"Qian Changda, are you crazy?!" Feng Dahuan, who had narrowly escaped death and was covered in cold sweat, cursed angrily, "You didn't come to save me, you fucking came to silence me!"
Qian Changda clenched his fist and slammed it at the face of the troublesome Shen Zhenzhu. Shen Zhenzhu quickly bent back to dodge. At the same time, Gu Yanzheng arrived and pointed his gun at Qian Changda's forehead: "Don't move."
Qian Changda gasped for breath: "You...you did this on purpose! You knew all along that I was an imposter!"
Feng Dahuan roared, "You almost killed me!"
Qian Changda sneered, "I'm here to kill you."
Feng Dahuan was stunned for a moment: "What did you say?"
Qian Changda said, "To hell with your loyalty, you piece of trash! Only when you're dead will they stop trying to pry anything out of you!"
"Don't move." Gu Yanzheng pointed his gun at Qian Changda and handed the handcuffs to Chen Zhenzhu with one hand.
Shen Zhenzhu put away her pistol and took the handcuffs. She was about to handcuff Qian Changda when suddenly a figure flashed behind him!
Feng Dahuan picked up the knife from the ground, dodged Gu Yanzheng's blind spot, and suddenly stabbed Qian Changda in the back!
"Ughhhhh!!" Qian Changda hadn't expected Feng Dahuan to dare kill him in front of the police. He spat out a mouthful of blood, his head trembling slightly as he turned his head to the side, clearly seeing Feng Dahuan stab the knife in again: "Ugh...ha...ha, you..."
“Qian Changda, if you have been kind to me, I will repay your kindness. If you have wronged me, I will take revenge. If you want to kill me, I will kill you too.”
Feng Dahuan's killing speed exceeded Shen Zhenzhu and Gu Yanzheng's expectations. After stabbing Qian Changda, he calmly drew his knife. In just ten seconds, Qian Changda was lying on the ground, his limbs twitching.
When the others arrived, Qian Changda had been stabbed in the heart and had already stopped breathing.
"How did he die?"
"Did Feng Dahuan do it?"
Before being subdued by Shen Zhenzhu, Feng Dahuan squatted down, placed the knife in front of him, and raised his hands: "I surrender. I killed Qian Changda."
Shen Zhenzhu retorted sarcastically, "Weren't you so stubborn that you wouldn't say anything? Why are you admitting it now?"
Feng Dahuan smiled sinisterly: "I'm a man of great loyalty. Shen Zhenzhu, you just saved my life, so I'm willing to tell you everything I know."

The author's note: The story of Qian Changda impersonating a public official and breaking into the criminal investigation team is adapted from a plot I saw in a criminal investigation documentary from the 1990s many years ago.
The case was this: a fugitive, in an attempt to rescue his brother, brought a few henchmen in a fake police car, used fake identification, and arrogantly stormed into the police station. The station chief greeted them with a beaming smile, practically bursting with joy—they'd delivered themselves to his doorstep! He poured tea for the "leader," barely suppressing his laughter.
As expected, the fugitive not only failed to rescue his brother, but also got himself and even more brothers into trouble.
At the time, I thought it was absurd; how could a person do such a stupid thing?
Absurd to the point of being lawless, arrogant to the point of disregarding the law.
(There may be some discrepancies, but this is the general idea.)
I don't remember the name of this movie, but I wrote down this plot because it was so absurd.
Just wanted to clarify. [Kiss][Kiss]
